Happy Friday, loves! Are you as excited about the weekend as I am? I didn’t think it would ever get here. Ryan is finally home and we are heading to the beach tomorrow! I’m so ready to spend some time with him and our good friends. It will be a great time. For today, I thought it would be fun to share more of my favorites with you – starting with my POPSUGAR Must Have Box!
Twenty Eight + PinkBlush Giveaway
It’s official! As of Monday, I said goodbye to my twenty-seventh year and hello to twenty-eight! If you know me, or have read my blog for a while, you know how big of a number person I am. I was born on 8-8-88, was 18in. long and weighed 5lbs. and 8 oz. (which is 88 ounces). I bet you can’t guess my lucky number! So, I’m obviously really excited to be 28! I’m not a huge fan of odd numbers and my 27th year was a little crazy. This next year, we will be welcoming a new baby boy and moving into our new home where we will share so many new memories with our growing family. I am beyond excited to see what all this year will bring. We have already been so blessed and I can’t imagine what’s in store for our future! Today, I wanted to celebrate by sharing one of my favorite maternity (and non-maternity) shops – PinkBlush! They have been a favorite of mine since my first pregnancy and continue to wow me with their maternity options. If you read to the end, there might even be a PinkBlush giveaway or something! š

Friday Favorites
I haven’t done a Friday Favorites post in a while, but I thought today would be a great day to do it because I have had a lot of favorites this week!
26 Weeks Pregnant + #NSale Outfit
I am 26 weeks pregnant now, but I feel like I’m 32. Seriously. This baby feels a lot bigger than he actually is. Maybe it’s having my pregnancies so close together? I’m not sure, but this one has definitely been my toughest. I’ve been really sick again this week. I’m not sure if it is all the anxiety I’ve had lately or just the pregnancy making me so nauseous, but I’m hoping it passes very quickly.
Beach Bag Essentials for the Over-Prepared Mom

Hampton is starting a Mother’s Morning Out program in 3 weeks, so we are about to be thrown into all of the back-to-school hoopla for the first time. We are excited and I am feeling all of the emotions. But, first, we are going on one last summer vacation to the beach with some good friends of ours! We are beyond excited. Sophie has only been to the beach a couple of times for little day trips at my grandmother’s house, so I am excited to let her explore a little bit more. I think this is the first time we are going on an actual beach trip as a family of four, so we are thrilled to make new memories. One thing I have already been planning and packing is our beach bag. With two little ones, you can never be too prepared. I like to have all my bases covered when it comes to our beach bag essentials and be ready for every possible scenario – sunburn, sickness, irritated eyes, etc.
Four Year Blogiversary!
I can’t believe it has been four years since I started this blog! It went from “Southern, Sunflowers and Coffee Beans” to now, “Logan Can” and it has been such a blessing in many was. I’ve met so many amazing women and made some great friends through this experience. This “job” has allowed me to stay home with my babies while earning an income and giving me an awesome outlet that I believe every mom needs. Staying home with my kids is the biggest blessing by far and I can’t thank you guys enough for every comment, page view, social media share, etc. It means the world to me and I still get so excited every time I see someone has retweeted me or pinned something from my blog!

Zoo Day and Sunshine
This weekend was a lot of fun. We finally bought a zoo membership (something I’ve been meaning to do for a looooong time) and had a zoo day with friends. The kids loved it and I think it will be fun to take them a lot more often now that we have our annual membership. We also got to go on a date night! We are starting to get a little bit better about having those, and I don’t hate it one bit. It was so much fun. We went to our favorite restaurant and then to Target! How do we always end up there?
Lake Day
Happy Monday, dolls! I hope you had a fantastic weekend! We had a great time at the lake with Ryan’s family on Saturday and spent the day yesterday recouping and recharging for the week. Meaning, we were super lazy. Lake days are so much fun and absolutely wear us out which is great because for our family, that means excellent naps. Thumbs up! Our lake day began at breakfast and we stayed for a while after dinner and it was perfect. Honestly, I think my favorite memory from the day was being caught on the boat in the rain a pretty god ways from the house. It was pelting us and we were all laughing so hard trying to get back. Our poor Pop Pop couldn’t hardly see through the ran so we paused under the bridge for a couple of minutes and then went the rest of the way. It was hilarious and we were soaked. Towels and all.
Sun is Shining, Weather is Sweet
I am a huge fan of the fall, but there is just something about summer that makes me always want to smile. Maybe it’s the beautiful weather, maybe it’s the travel, maybe it’s the salty ocean air and sand between my toes or running through a sprinkler with my little ones, but the summer is sweet, indeed.
Springtime Activities for Toddlers

I have a love/hate relationship with Spring. I love it because the days are warmer which means getting back outside with my kids, porch swings, sweet tea, sunny days, etc. I hate it because I have the worst allergies. I never had an issue with them until about three years ago. They have been horrible ever since. I’ve always heard that you can’t live in the south forever without developing allergies at some point. I guess there is a lot of truth to that. I’ve been reading a lot about them and one of the tips I see repeated over and over (aside from staying indoors, which is not an option for me) is to change your clothes, wash them and wash your body as soon as you go inside to rid yourself of all the pollen.
Between playing in the dirt, getting messy in the kitchen, and all of the pollen, I do a lot of laundry. Since having my youngest daughter, I have had to do at least a load nearly every day. It’s just a reminder of how much fun we have! After all, they are only little once so why not let kids be kids? I recently received the brand newĀ allĀ® Fresh Clean Essentialsā¢ laundry detergent from Amazon.com and it has been wonderful! It is sulfate free and preserves the color of clothes while giving them a deep and powerful clean without the harshness.
Spring means springtime activities with the kiddos and we have already been outside every day for the last few weeks now thanks to unseasonably warm weather this March. Here are a few of our favorite activities!
Springtime Activities:
Park Days
Playing on our Water Table
Zoo Days
Picnic
Sensory Bins
Blowing Bubbles
Playing Ball: Soccer, Basketball, golf, etc.
Wagon Rides
Feeding the Ducks
Visiting a Farm
Picking Wildflowers
Some of our favorite sensory bins are filled with dry beans and dry rice. I like to hideĀ little toys throughout the bin for the kids to dig around in to find! If you’re in the mood to get really messy, try jello, play dough, dirt, sand, etc.
How to Create a Sensory Bin:
Grab a plastic box or bin
Fill it with dry beans or rice
Hide toys of different shapes, sizes and textures throughout so your toddler can feel around for them.
What springtime activities do you enjoy as a family? Have you tried the new sulfate-freeĀ allĀ® Fresh Clean Essentialsā¢ detergent?
