During pregnancy I love to buy things that will be great for both during pregnancy and after. For me, that has meant lots of tunics, leggings, elastic waistbands and cardigans or kimonos ( depending on the season). I love to layer or wear long flowy tops that can hide a new bump, postpartum tummy and grow with a bump. I have been pregnant in every single month of the year throughout all of my pregnancies and I have to admit, being pregnant in the winter months was by far my favorite. Dresses are easier in the summer and spring, but it was easier on me, physically, during the winter. If I could offer any advice it would be to embrace the maternity jeans. They really are so comfortable – especially at the end of your pregnancy. Fitting into those elastic waistband shorts or leggings can be tough if you are carrying low (which I have with all my boys). Today, I wanted to share my favorite staple clothing pieces for pregnancy – some that are maternity and others that I just sized up one size in to make it work. These have been my go-to basics during this pregnancy!
Amazon Try On: March
I’ve been so excited to share this spring inspired amazon try on with you all for the last week now! To catch you guys up if you don’t follow along on IG, I went to the hospital on Sunday night having contractions every 4 minutes for over 5 hours and then they slowly started spreading out over the next 24 hours. I was very thankful that they stopped. It has been a little bit of a crazy week between that and the big IG shut down. I was originally planning this for Wednesday, but because of the crash, I pushed it back and my week feels so thrown off, but I am SO thankful it is FRIDAY! Yay for the weekend and SPRING BREAK! In case you missed it, I shared my spring break Amazon finds here!
In this try on, I tried to focus on a few basics as well as kimonos because I have bee loving the kimonos! I also have my eye on this one that I did not share but think would be awesome for summer! Let’s get to it, shall we?

OOTDs from the Week
I was hit with some kind of sickness this week… a really bad cold or something, so I kept my OOTDs pretty casual and comfortable. Honestly, that’s kind of what I am drawn to more and more at this stage of pregnancy. Give me all of the comfortable things! I shared a ton of affordable pieces this week and a lot of it is even available on Amazon Prime! I can’t believe all of the gems I have been finding there. And it is so convenient and you get it so fast which is awesome!
Here are some of my OOTDs from the week…

Trunk Club Try On: January
I’m so excited to share this month’s trunk club try-on with you guys! This is my second month trying the service, but my first one was way off as far as sizing (my stylist was getting to know my style and with my being pregnant, sizing was tough). This month is WAY way better! I honestly would have kept it all if I could, but some pieces I just don’t need right now.
How Trunk Club Works:
Trunk Club is a lot like Stitch Fix but it is a Nordstrom service. All of the clothes come from Nordstrom. It is a great way to try on some clothes from Nordstrom without having to pay a fortune to try several new things and then return. I highly recommend it if you do not live near a Nordstrom because the buying and returning process can get old fast. You are charged a $25 styling fee each month, but that fee is like store credit that you get to use on your box items if you decide to keep them! The best part? That money rolls over from month to month. If you do not keep anything in your January box, you have $50 to spend in February, and so on. I love that the styling fee actually goes toward your purchase and is not waisted money each month. The shipping and returns are free. It is really that easy! You can also request a box monthly, every other month, seasonally, and so on! Sign up HERE to try it out for yourself!
Keep in mind that I am 29 weeks pregnant and these will look different on you (will be a little more forgiving on you). I am currently wearing Mediums but am a small pre-pregnancy and am a 4-6. I am currently… a larger size. 😉

What I Wore Lately | October
I know many of you do not have the LiketoKnow.it app and prefer to shop through links on your computer, so I love to do outfit round-ups to make it easy for you to shop all my looks in one place at least once a month in my “What I Wore” posts! If you don’t have the app, but are interested in downloading it, it is totally free and I highly recommend it because it is the easiest way to shop all of your favorite blogger’s posts! Just download the app and search for my Instagram name (logan_can) and all of my shoppable images will be there in one place. Otherwise, you can reference my looks right here on the blog in these posts or under the “shop my Instagram” tab! Here are a few of my favorite outfits from the month of October!

Postpartum Fashion Staples
Dressing my postpartum body is my least favorite part of having a baby. Maternity clothes are plentiful and even cute these days, but no one really helps out a whole lot when it comes to postpartum. I have not hid my frustration this time around with my lack of weight loss. In fact, after busting my lil for the last 5 1/2 weeks, I’ve only lost 5 pounds. Wah Wah. It’s not a fun process. If you’re like me (stubborn), you refuse to buy new pants because you will lose the weight and don’t want to waist money on pants you will wear for only another month or two. That’s how I feel.
Dressing my postpartum body has been tricky this time because the only place I really have weight to lose is my stomach and hips/butt. I really only have a couple more inches to lose to get back into my pre-pregnancy pants, and I am too small for my maternity jeans now, so what do I wear?
Third Trimester Must Haves For The Very End Of Pregnancy
It is so hard to believe that my pregnancy is coming to an end! Baby boy will be here any day now. I’m trying to enjoy every last moment until he decides to make his appearance. I’m honestly not sure if this is my last pregnancy or not, but just in case, I want to remember and enjoy every little detail and movement even though the last few weeks have been anything but pleasant. I have been very sick throughout this pregnancy and have had a lot of pain and contractions the last 3 weeks. Here are some of my third trimester must haves that have gotten me through the tough moments!
My First Two Under Two Are Kicking My Tail
…It’s true. Even though Hampton is almost 3 now, our little nickname for our first two kids when they are acting like crazy people is “two under two.” The last few days, we have been going non-stop. I have officially hit “I’m about to have a baby and haven’t done anything to prepare” mode, and it happened to hit me about the same time that my kids outgrew all of their shoes, planning for Hampton’s birthday and a million other little things we have going on this week. Adding to our crazy, I have been due for an iPhone upgrade for 2 months now, but because our nearest Apple store keeps running out of phones, it took me until yesterday to actually get mine. We have been checking in every day to see if they had the gold iPhone, and they finally got it in the store, which meant a very last minute trip to Birmingham.
