I am a huge fan of the fall, but there is just something about summer that makes me always want to smile. Maybe it’s the beautiful weather, maybe it’s the travel, maybe it’s the salty ocean air and sand between my toes or running through a sprinkler with my little ones, but the summer is sweet, indeed.
This weekend we made lots of memories. We found out the gender of our 3rd little blessing on Friday (stay tuned for the announcement later this week) and I was able to pull out some things and get them organized – somewhat. We also enjoyed a lazy Saturday and strolls around the neighborhood. My babies love going to see the ducks and turtles at the pond in my parent’s neighborhood, so that was a must on the agenda. We also got to visit with my sweet twin cousins and their parents that we don’t get to see as often as I like. My grandmother had everyone over to her house for pork and we enjoyed some time around the dinner table and playing cards afterwards while the kids ran around and played. It was a great weekend and I can’t wait for many more spent with my babies and husband this summer!
