It’s Friday which means it’s time for more of my Friday favorites! This week, we have struggled a little bit. Both of my babies have been sick and running a fever the last couple of days. Hamp missed school which made me (and him) sick because he was looking so forward to it. Poor little guy. My Sophie girl has been just pitiful the last couple of days, but I’m praying that today is the ay everyone starts to feel better! It is a holiday weekend, after all! It’s time to get out and explore…or carb load and watch football. either way…which brings me to my first FAVORITE!

Happy Friday, loves! Are you as excited about the weekend as I am? I didn’t think it would ever get here. Ryan is finally home and we are heading to the beach tomorrow! I’m so ready to spend some time with him and our good friends. It will be a great time. Happy FriYAY, friends! I am pretty excited that it is the weekend. We have had a great week, but this mama is tired and ready for some R&R! Yesterday, we made all of the selections for our new house and were told the foundation will be poured next week! We are so excited and I am very thankful that things are working out the way they are. See? God always has a better plan for us even when we can’t see it at the time. This is completely different than what we thought we were going to do in the beginning, but it is working out to where our kids will be in a great school zone and the school is literally 2 blocks from our house, so we can walk Hampton to kindergarten (in a couple of years) which will be so nice! There is even a park, pool and splash pad in our neighborhood, so I am beyond excited about those amenities!

Don’t you love discovering new things that are kind of incredible? I have been loving me some lipstick lately, but let’s be honest, it always rubs off in like an hour. If we’re lucky. Well, I’m about to change your life.

stays on for 24 hours. No joke. I put it on in the morning, went to lunch with my grandma, chased Hampton around all day, worked, read, went to bed, woke up the next morning and it was still there. I’m not joking. I was shocked. My sister (who told me about this amazing product) was not lying when she told me this would happen. So, I of course had to share it with you. I ran back to Wal Mart and bought another shade because it is so awesome and I haven’t stopped wearing it yet.

Here are a few other things I’m loving this month:

This Book by Liane Moriarty. Her books just get better and better (Review coming soon).

This Dress has been my go-to the last 2 weeks now. It is so comfortable and cute. You can style it so many different ways which I love. You will probably be seeing it again.

Downton Abbey is back on! Have you been watching it this season? I am so into it! It’s the best show on Television right now. Hands down.

FRESH Sugar Rose Lip Treatment is almost (not quite) as good as Romance, but it is a great light shade that is perfect for every day wear. I’ve been wearing it a lot lately. It also smells reallllly good. Bonus points!

This workout from Tone it up! It works all the right places.

Currently, I’m:

reading One Thousand White Women by Jim Fergus and loving it so far. If you like historical fiction, you should definitely read this one. Review coming soon!

wearing Revlon lip butter in Cotton Candy. I love this lip color for spring and it’s so moisturizing. Big thumbs up, Rev!

loving this 70 degree weather we have been having down here in Bama town. It makes my morning runs so much more enjoyable when my lungs aren’t on fire from the cold.

tasting the Starbucks hibiscus berry refresher. Why have I not tried these until now? Addiction.

writing in my journal more and more lately. I know that sounds like so totally junior high, but I’ll write more on this topic later.

preparing for my Thirty One party this Friday night. I’m hosting for my MIL and can’t wait to have friends and family over for a night of fun. Plus who doesn’t love an adorable new bag?

Here are a few things I’m loving for this fall season.

I love this blazer by Lauren Conrad at Khol’s. It is perfect to dress up or down. I have it in turtledove.

If you (or your wallet) need a break from Pumpkin Spice Lattes, try this coffee creamer by coffee-mate for a perfect fall taste.

I love the calming “front porch” scent of this candle by Park Hill.

This novel is the perfect feel-good, fireside read.

This recipe for chocolate chip pumpkin bread was a big hit with my family and friends.
