8 Minute Workout – Perfect for Busy Moms
This post is sponsored by Elev8d Fitness. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’m going to be really honest with y’all. After having Weston, I have tried to start working out again many, many times and it normally only lasts a week or two. Having our third child really turned out world upside down. Finding the time to workout is something I have struggled with for the last year and a half. It’s been hard because I couldn’t work out during the second half of my pregnancy due to complications, and we all know how fast you can lose the ability to run. My babies wake up at 5a.m. and have for a couple of years now. Waking up at 4a.m. to work out is not going to happen. Let’s be real.
But this 8 Minute Workout is seriously a game changer!
Under $50 Striped Dress
You guys know how much I love shopping at the LOFT. They kill it with their new arrivals every single week! I have been loving all the bright colors for summer and this beautiful dress is no exception. If you are wanting to add a little color to your wardrobe this summer, this is a great option! I love how light and easy it is, but this colorful striped dress is under $50! Yes, you read that right!

25 Books to Read This Summer
You guys know how much I love putting book lists together and putting this one together over the last couple of days has been so awesome. I literally added all of these (and then some) to my list of books to read – but, who am I kidding? I’ll probably not get to half of them. Ha! These sounded so good and I wanted to put together new releases that sounded like the perfect summer vacation reads or front-porch swingin’ kind of books. So, here are my books to read this summer! I hope you enjoy and please let me know if you read any/ have already read them. I want to hear what you think!
Mother’s Day Weekend
Our Mother’s Day weekend was full of sweet moments, celebrations and countless reminders of our blessings. We got to see so many people and celebrate graduations, birthdays, mothers and grandmothers and watch our boy play t-ball! It was a pretty perfect weekend.
Feelin’ Like Summertime
It is finally feeling like summertime in Alabama! I absolutely love it. What I don’t love? It going from 50 degrees to 90 overnight…literally. BUT, I am thankful it is warm and staying warm because my kids will be out of school as of tomorrow afternoon, so I am seeing a bunch of pool days in our near future! Speaking of pool days, don’t forget to check out my post on teaching your children how to swim! It has a great resource with tons of tips! Anyone else teaching their kids to swim this summer? It is a daunting task. We tried to teach Hampton last summer, but he spent the majority of the season absolutely scared to death of the water. This is the year!

Mother’s Day Gift Guide
Mother’s Day is right around the corner! This day has such a special meaning to me, especially since becoming a mother, myself. I have always loved a good reason to celebrate my mom and grandmother’s because they are beautiful, incredible, strong women who deserve to be celebrated every day. My parent’s have always told me I am a perfect blend of both of my grandmothers. They are spunky, a little blunt and fierce. I guess I see a little similarity there (HA!). It’s safe to say, I love them dearly. When I became a mom, this day took on a whole new meaning. It is, in my opinion, very special when you are honoring the matriarchs of your family. My favorite Mother’s Day gift is when my babies bring home their handprinted artwork from school. Any other moms love receiving those? They are so sweet!
I hope this Mother’s Day gift guide is helpful when picking out something for your mom, MIL, grandmother, sisters, etc. I tried to choose something for every age as well as some of my current favorite things.

April Outfits
Hi friends! The have been a little slow around here today. My little man (Weston) has been throwing up, and Sophie is still not feeling 100%, so we have enjoyed laying around a little bit this afternoon since we got home from school. I intended to get this post up this morning, but it just didn’t happen, so I am a little late with it today, but better late than never, right? So, here is a look back at some of my April outfits…
