Our Mother’s Day weekend was full of sweet moments, celebrations and countless reminders of our blessings. We got to see so many people and celebrate graduations, birthdays, mothers and grandmothers and watch our boy play t-ball! It was a pretty perfect weekend.
Hampton played in his last regular season game on Saturday and it is a bittersweet feeling. We have playoffs this weekend and are so excited for that. While we are sad to see his season end so quickly, we are also really excited to have our nights and Saturday mornings back. We celebrated a friends graduation from law school and several birthdays in the family as well as our moms. We were also blessed to have some sweet moments with our grandmothers. We are so lucky to have all of our grandmothers still living and treasure those moments with them.
While we were full of celebrations this weekend, we were also constantly thinking of our friends who are grieving the losses of their mother’s and grandmother’s this year as well as our friends who are struggling to conceive. I think we all know so many or experienced infertility themselves. We know how hard these days can be on some and were thinking of you this weekend as well. I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend and found someone or some way to celebrate someone special in your life.
Our kids are officially out for summer, so we are going to be spending a lot of time outside, at the pool and traveling. We have a few trips planned/in the works and are looking forward to some fun! In the meantime, I want to know what some of your favorite summer activities are with your little ones! I am working on our summer bucket list and would love to know what’s on yours!
