Happy Wednesday, friends! I originally had another post scheduled for today, but Hampton has a stomach bug and none of us have slept this week. With that being said, tired is the name of my game, these days. I’ve been falling asleep in the middle of the day while feeding Weston, I’ve made coffee in the keurig without putting my mug under it. I’ve run into walls, I’ve let our laundry get completely out of control. I know what it is like to be tired to your bones. To your very core. Not being able to think. So, with that being said, I thought it would be a good time to read some bible verses for the weary and tired mom. I hope these scriptures give some encouragement to another tired mommy out there! Just know that you are amazing. You are doing an incredible job! You go, mama!

Happy Friday! We have had a really long week, but a good one. The kids have been exceptionally good (I feel like Ashton Kutcher is about to pop out at any moment) and the older two are going to their grandparent’s house this weekend so Ryan, Weston and I can go on a quick road trip to ATL to shop at IKEA! It will be my first time at IKEA and I am pretty excited about it! I mayyy try to talk Ryan into stopping by Nordstrom while we are there, but I haven’t broken that news to him yet…it may be a “on the way last minute decision to stop”…unless he is reading this.
Three Truths You Need To Know About
Happy Wednesday! Is this week going by super fast for anyone else or is it just me? I feel like it should still be Monday. But, that’s life as a mom, right? You blink and it’s been three years. It has been raining here the last couple of days and we are definitely looking forward to some sunshine this weekend (I hope!). Until then, I wanted to share these three truths with you…
We Don’t Brunch On Sundays
Over the weekend we did a lot of cleaning. We also had my parents over for dinner to see the house now that we have some of it put together (and to get some decorating advice from my mom because she’s the Bomb.Com). Honestly, it was a pretty mundane weekend over all. We didn’t do anything overly exciting. I didn’t know what to write for my “weekend update” until it hit me after life group last night. I’m going to tell the unfiltered absolute truth about how our Sundays are. You see, we don’t brunch on Sundays. I see Instagram posts from other bloggers and friends all the time where they are drinking coffee, getting ready for brunch, looking cute and cozy and relaxing with breakfast in bed. You know what I’m talking about, right? Those “easy like Sunday morning” posts. So, here are what our Sunday mornings look like with kids…

12 Things You Need To Do In March
Happy March! I am kissing this bipolar weather goodbye (I hope) and welcoming Spring! I am so excited for this month because (1.) tomorrow is my daddy’s birthday and (2.) we are going on our first road trip as a family of five! I am so ready to go to Florida and see our family and the beach, of course! I can’t hardly stand it! So, I have a lot of things on my to-do and bucket lists for this month.

They See Me Rolling
This weekend was one for the books! Weston’s baby book to be exact. He rolled over (from back to stomach, you know, the hard one) for the first time on Saturday! I was so proud and I completely missed it. I laid him down on the floor, left to grab a diaper and came back and he was on his belly. He was happy as a clam, too. He looked so surprised like he had no idea how he ended up there. Of course, Ryan and I sane ” They see me rolling…” to him because it’s tradition. I’m pretty sure we sang it to all of our kids when they rolled over for the first time. Of course, ever since he figured it out, we can’t get him to stop rolling everywhere. Once he got it, he Got. It. Smarty britches!

Happy Friday!!! I have never been so happy to see the weekend. This week has been Cuh-Ray-Zee. Ryan was traveling earlier in the week and after taking Hamp to school on Thursday, I realized I did not have my house key. So, I was locked out for several hours with crying babies. And, luck would have it that Hamp’s teacher called me because Hampton was pulling on his ear and crying (not like him at all) and had to turn around and pick him right back up. He ended up being totally fine. I think he was just really tired from waking up at 4:30a.m. that morning after going to bed late the night before. I am once again, very thankful that we have family near by because I was able to go hang out at my parent’s house for a few hours while we waited on Ryan to fly home.
So, like I said, it’s been a crazy week and I am ready to dive into some Friday favorites!!
ONE.
The Nordstrom Winter Sale is going on right now and it is awesome! I got this Free People tunic (sold out but also sold here) I have been eyeing because I LOVE the colors. It is so bright and makes me happy. To shop my picks and the best deals under $50, check out my post here!
Weekend Vibes
This weekend felt like a whirlwind. The good kind. My in-laws are golden because they kept our older two for us on Friday night and we got so much done. We even squeezed in a date (with Weston, of course) to our favorite Mexican restaurant. I got a lot of our house cleaned up while Ryan went to work on hanging mirrors, photos, etc. Our house is finally starting to feel more put-together and look like a home. Also, this is the only photo evidence of us going on a date that was taken by my three-year-old. haha I have GOT to invest in a tripod! If you know of a good affordable one, please let me know in the comments!

Our Valentine’s Day
Our Valentine’s Day was nothing special this year. It was any ordinary Tuesday. Hampton went to school and enjoyed his Valentine’s Day party and that made me so happy. The boys have been feeling sickly again this week, so we got outside in the beautiful weather and played…and played and played. We walked and talked and played golf and went to the playground and I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. I even let the kids pig out on a little candy with me. It was a treat for us all!
