Hampton’s baby book is full of every first, every monthly photo, every little fact about him. Sophie’s has very little in hers, and I had not even started on Weston’s…that is, until I received the Artifact Uprising baby book! This baby book has made it so easy to put together photos and all the special moments I want to remember forever. To all my busy moms out there, this one is for you! I have had no time since becoming a mom to three (under 4) to do anything “extra” and that includes putting together a baby book. It is the phase of life we are in, and I am content with that, but I do want to have all of these memories gathered in one place to look back on.
Ten Month Favorites: A Letter To My Ten Month Old
I can’t believe you are ten months old! Where has the time gone? Your life is flashing before my very eyes. I feel like you should still be a newborn, but overnight, you have become my bouncing happy baby boy. You light up the room with your big toothless smile and your hearty chuckle. You have the most beautiful blue eyes and the sweetest demeanor. A few of your ten month favorites include your lovey, MAMS soothers, your Dockatot, cars, bananas, pulling my hair and wrestling your sister. You can definitely hold your own, little buddy!

I honestly dread transitions. In our house, a big transition means extra crying and less sleeping. It’s not normally a fun thing. Sleep transitions, schedule transitions, transitions to school and one that I am currently doing for the third time now – transitioning baby to a bottle. I have to admit that he is my most stubborn out of all three children when it comes to the bottle. He has been breastfeeding now for 5 months and knows no different. This process has been a struggle with him which brings me to a valid point:
Healthy Playtime Toys for Babies
Weston is 5 months old, guys. FIVE. I can’t believe it. Lately, his favorite things include eating, tummy time, eating, his Lamaze Mix and Match Caterpillar, and eating some more. He is starting to tuck his knees up under him during tummy time and pushes all the way up on his arms. I am definitely not ready for another baby on the loose around here, but it is coming, and soon, I have a feeling. Lamaze Toys sent him some new toys last week and he has really become fond of them. Like most new toys, they have made playtime so much fun and have been great for his development!
Weston at Five Months
My little guy is FIVE months old. Someone pinch me. The first baby went by fast, the second was faster, the third? It’s been a total blur. I know I always say it, but I feel like we just arrived home from the hospital. I feel like we just moved into our new house. And just like that, he is five months old. Weston is the sweetest baby. He is always smiling (unless he’s hungry) and he is much more laid back than my other two babies. I hope and pray he stays that way because I need a laid back babe amongst the high-strung ones. They get it honestly, bless their hearts.

They See Me Rolling
This weekend was one for the books! Weston’s baby book to be exact. He rolled over (from back to stomach, you know, the hard one) for the first time on Saturday! I was so proud and I completely missed it. I laid him down on the floor, left to grab a diaper and came back and he was on his belly. He was happy as a clam, too. He looked so surprised like he had no idea how he ended up there. Of course, Ryan and I sane ” They see me rolling…” to him because it’s tradition. I’m pretty sure we sang it to all of our kids when they rolled over for the first time. Of course, ever since he figured it out, we can’t get him to stop rolling everywhere. Once he got it, he Got. It. Smarty britches!
Weston At Three Months
Meet Weston Thatcher
32 Weeks Pregnant
I am 32 weeks pregnant and struggling. This past week has been a hard one. I have been sick every day, but it worsened when I went to one of our local consignment sales on Saturday. It’s held in a basement with no air conditioning and people were packed in there like sardines. What us mothers will do for a bargain. Sigh. I was relieved to see I wasn’t the only one – and not the only pregnant woman, either – struggling down there, I got way too overheated. I almost didn’t make it back to my car, but luckily I had my mom with me who was able to help me get there without falling out. I have naturally low blood pressure, so fainting has occurred in my past, but I have never fainted while pregnant and really don’t want to.
What Essentials To Purchase For Your Third Baby

I am a third-time expectant mom – due in November! In case you haven’t noticed, we are roughly 2 months away from my due date. Yikes! I realized this fact over the weekend when I started having really strong braxton hicks contractions. You’ve got to love those! I had a moment of panic when I told Ryan that I had literally done nothing to prepare for this baby and we are getting so close to our due date and moving date. While it is true that you can reuse several things for second and third children, it is also important to purchase new essentials.
