Favorite Kid Brands and Small Shops
I thought it would be fun to round up a few of the kid brands and small shops that we have worked with over the last couple of months and love to shop with! I get asked all the time where I shop for them, so here is a big roundup of a lot of the things we have been gifted and shop at frequently!
Friday Favorites with Cuddle and Kind
Happy Friday, loves! We have had a very busy week with work and the kids, so we are SO ready for the weekend. I will be playing catch up around the house and Ryan will be getting ready to go to the Masters. I know, I’m jealous. I’ve got some really excited things coming up on my blog and Instagram next week, so make sure to follow along here if you don’t want to miss it!
They See Me Rolling
This weekend was one for the books! Weston’s baby book to be exact. He rolled over (from back to stomach, you know, the hard one) for the first time on Saturday! I was so proud and I completely missed it. I laid him down on the floor, left to grab a diaper and came back and he was on his belly. He was happy as a clam, too. He looked so surprised like he had no idea how he ended up there. Of course, Ryan and I sane ” They see me rolling…” to him because it’s tradition. I’m pretty sure we sang it to all of our kids when they rolled over for the first time. Of course, ever since he figured it out, we can’t get him to stop rolling everywhere. Once he got it, he Got. It. Smarty britches!
Finally in Our New Home
I realized over Thanksgiving that things have been so crazy and I haven’t even mentioned we are completely in our new home! We have absolutely loved it so far! We have great neighbors who have kids a few years older than Hamp and Sophie, but a couple of houses down, there are kids their age. All of the kids play great outside together and my kids have loved being right next to our neighborhood playground. It is so convenient and has been really wonderful. We are still unpacking and honestly, probably will be for a while, but the downstairs is pretty much put together now and we are so looking forward to hosting people in our house again! That is probably the thing we have missed most over this last year.
Friday Favorites: Instagram Round-up
I thought it would be fun to do a little Instagram round-up today along with a couple of other favorites I’ve been loving lately!
ONE.
Mug c/o My Thoughts Print // Cardigan // Ring c/o
The highs are in the low 70s today and it feels AMAZING outside this morning! I even got to enjoy wearing a cozy cardigan for the first time this season and I am obsessed, OBSESSED with this mug. I mean, Halloween + Pumpkin + Hocus Pocus + Coffee? Yes, please! Jo from My Thoughts Exactly was on point with this one! Thanks for making my morning, girl!
Stripes on Stripes on Stripes
I am 36 weeks pregnant this week and feeling’ it! Baby boy has definitely dropped, even since taking these photos over the weekend. I’ve been having a ton of pressure and some fun little pre-labor pains (you know the drill) for the last couple of weeks now. I even had a moment over the weekend while standing in Target with my mom when I literally could not move. I’m sure everyone thought, “what is that girl DOING!?” It was slightly embarrassing, but what can you do? The only thing that has made this week better is wearing all the stripes.

5th Anniversary Weekend and Penelope’s Stories
This weekend was so much fun! In addition to celebrating our 5th anniversary, Thursday night, we went to a dinner with our family and saw lots of friends we haven’t seen in a while. It was a special night. I absolutely adored my dress and this necklace from Penelope’s Stories! I love their shop! They have the prettiest accessories that are great for all occasions. Be sure to check them out on Instagram and Facebook!
You Are Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile
It has been a while since I went to a nice dinner with Ryan. He goes to them all the time, but I normally stay home with the kiddos. Last night we had the chance to go hear former mayor Rudy Giuliani speak at a fundraiser for a local college and it was so much fun getting all dressed up – even though I’m starting to feel like a whale. There is just something about putting on a pretty dress that makes me feel good and impossible to quit smiling. It’s good for the soul to get dressed up every once in a while. Especially as a WAHM or SAHM.

Happy hump day, friends! We are half way through the week and I could not be more excited about that. Over the weekend, my entire family caught a stomach virus that has been a tough one to get over, but we are on the mend and looking forward to the weekend! Also, this lovely unique watch came in the mail this week which made me all kids of happy! Who doesn’t love a new little slice of heaven when they are feeling sick!?
