Happy Friday! We are still battling a stomach virus in our house, but I hope you are having a great start to the weekend and for most people – spring break! I remember as a kid that spring break was such a big deal! I always needed a break this time of year and looked so forward to it. I am so excited that Hamp will be out of school all week! We are planning to go to Florida, although because of this virus, our trip may be postponed a couple of days. So, let’s get on to Friday Favorites, shall we?
Friday Favorites: Spring Break Edition
10 Bible Verses For Tired New Moms
Happy Wednesday, friends! I originally had another post scheduled for today, but Hampton has a stomach bug and none of us have slept this week. With that being said, tired is the name of my game, these days. I’ve been falling asleep in the middle of the day while feeding Weston, I’ve made coffee in the keurig without putting my mug under it. I’ve run into walls, I’ve let our laundry get completely out of control. I know what it is like to be tired to your bones. To your very core. Not being able to think. So, with that being said, I thought it would be a good time to read some bible verses for the weary and tired mom. I hope these scriptures give some encouragement to another tired mommy out there! Just know that you are amazing. You are doing an incredible job! You go, mama!
Spring Break Essentials
We leave on our spring break trip in less than a week and we are excited to get away for a few days! I am so looking forward to that Florida sunshine and warm weather! It is going to be cold here again this week, so I am praying we don’t get sick again after having a really warm week last week. Love this Alabama weather, let me tell you! The beach is calling my name!
So, I have had a little fun picking out these adorable spring break essentials for mama and her mini! One thing I love about having a little girl is dressing her and even matching her sometimes when the mood strikes! It’s so fun! I have more fun shopping for her tan I do for myself and I have been obsessing over all the toddler things they make to match mommy now! Here are a few of my favorites:
Friday Favorites
Happy Friday! We have had a really long week, but a good one. The kids have been exceptionally good (I feel like Ashton Kutcher is about to pop out at any moment) and the older two are going to their grandparent’s house this weekend so Ryan, Weston and I can go on a quick road trip to ATL to shop at IKEA! It will be my first time at IKEA and I am pretty excited about it! I mayyy try to talk Ryan into stopping by Nordstrom while we are there, but I haven’t broken that news to him yet…it may be a “on the way last minute decision to stop”…unless he is reading this.
Three Truths You Need To Know About
Happy Wednesday! Is this week going by super fast for anyone else or is it just me? I feel like it should still be Monday. But, that’s life as a mom, right? You blink and it’s been three years. It has been raining here the last couple of days and we are definitely looking forward to some sunshine this weekend (I hope!). Until then, I wanted to share these three truths with you…
We Don’t Brunch On Sundays
Over the weekend we did a lot of cleaning. We also had my parents over for dinner to see the house now that we have some of it put together (and to get some decorating advice from my mom because she’s the Bomb.Com). Honestly, it was a pretty mundane weekend over all. We didn’t do anything overly exciting. I didn’t know what to write for my “weekend update” until it hit me after life group last night. I’m going to tell the unfiltered absolute truth about how our Sundays are. You see, we don’t brunch on Sundays. I see Instagram posts from other bloggers and friends all the time where they are drinking coffee, getting ready for brunch, looking cute and cozy and relaxing with breakfast in bed. You know what I’m talking about, right? Those “easy like Sunday morning” posts. So, here are what our Sunday mornings look like with kids…

Happy Friday!! Who else is super happy it’ the weekend again? This week has been so long and I am very thankful for a weekend to play a little catch up on life and to play hard with my kiddos. Today is an exciting day because…
12 Things You Need To Do In March
Happy March! I am kissing this bipolar weather goodbye (I hope) and welcoming Spring! I am so excited for this month because (1.) tomorrow is my daddy’s birthday and (2.) we are going on our first road trip as a family of five! I am so ready to go to Florida and see our family and the beach, of course! I can’t hardly stand it! So, I have a lot of things on my to-do and bucket lists for this month.

Shopbop Sale Picks and What I Bought
I took this photo a couple of weeks ago not even thinking about the big Shopbop sale, but I’m glad I did because this tunic is a favorite of mine and it is on sale today! I love this sale because I can pick up amazing pieces from brands I couldn’t afford to buy otherwise. I have already been shopping this morning and can’t wait to show you what I bought and some other favorites! You guys know how much I love to shop a good sale. Right now, everything is on sale. You get 15% off when you spend $200+, 20% off $500+ and 25% off $800+! These brands don’t go on sale very often so when they do, I like to shop for things that have been on my wish list!
They See Me Rolling
This weekend was one for the books! Weston’s baby book to be exact. He rolled over (from back to stomach, you know, the hard one) for the first time on Saturday! I was so proud and I completely missed it. I laid him down on the floor, left to grab a diaper and came back and he was on his belly. He was happy as a clam, too. He looked so surprised like he had no idea how he ended up there. Of course, Ryan and I sane ” They see me rolling…” to him because it’s tradition. I’m pretty sure we sang it to all of our kids when they rolled over for the first time. Of course, ever since he figured it out, we can’t get him to stop rolling everywhere. Once he got it, he Got. It. Smarty britches!
