The Best Spring Break Books to Read on Vacation

Spring Break is here and I am loving these new releases just in time to throw in your beach bag (or in my case, hospital bag – haha). I rounded up a few spring break books that have (mostly) been released in the last couple of months and have great ratings! I am hoping to read some of these this year and a couple of them are from my 19 books to read in 2019 post, but some are new to my blog! After reading the synopsis of each book, these all sounded so good and like great options for a spring break trip!

I know many of you are already on spring break this week, but most of the schools in our area are not off until next week which means…plenty of time for prime shipping! 😉 I found some really cute things that all have 4+ star ratings and are available on Amazon prime! Mom Friendly Swimsuits

Finding the right swimsuit after you have had kids can be tricky. That mom-pouch is a real thing and not something I am a fan of flaunting. I think that’s why I am always drawn to flowy tops and dresses. Finding good mom friendly swimsuits can be tricky, but I always look for good coverage (no one wants anything to pop out while chasing the kids around) and great tummy control! I have rounded up some great swimsuit options that are very mom friendly and still super cute! A lot of these are even on sale or available on Amazon prime! Now is a great time to grab a few swimsuits for spring break because it is right around the corner!

Some of these have been on sale the last few days, so definitely check out the discount codes on each retailer’s websites. Also, I typically size up one in swimwear (just as a helpful hint to you). I snagged this swimsuit for me and this matching one for Sophie a couple of weeks ago and it is GREAT quality and meets all of my mom-friendly requirements. It has full booty coverage, sucks you in, has padding and I love the one-shoulder style! I also love this one that is under $40! Clearly I have a thing for the one-shoulder style. Spring Break is the perfect excuse to sleep in (if you don’t have kids) and read as much as you want to or catch up on books you’ve been lingering on forever. Ahh Spring break…how quickly you came and left us. I must admit that it was a crazy start, but it ended so sweet. We went to Jacksonville after the kids recovered from the stomach virus and let me tell you, it was long overdo! I had not seen my grandfather since last May and he had not met Weston. We also got to meet my cousins baby who was born two months before Weston, so those were special moments.

Friday Favorites: Spring Break Edition

Happy Friday! We are still battling a stomach virus in our house, but I hope you are having a great start to the weekend and for most people – spring break! I remember as a kid that spring break was such a big deal! I always needed a break this time of year and looked so forward to it. I am so excited that Hamp will be out of school all week! We are planning to go to Florida, although because of this virus, our trip may be postponed a couple of days. So, let’s get on to Friday Favorites, shall we?

We leave on our spring break trip in less than a week and we are excited to get away for a few days! I am so looking forward to that Florida sunshine and warm weather! It is going to be cold here again this week, so I am praying we don’t get sick again after having a really warm week last week. Love this Alabama weather, let me tell you! The beach is calling my name!

So, I have had a little fun picking out these adorable spring break essentials for mama and her mini!
