This Father’s Day is sneaking up on me! Thanks to some of my favorite brands, Ryan has already been really taken care of, but I still have some shopping to do for the other men in my life – my dad and Father-in-law! 😉

I have picked out items for all budgets. Some nice gifts are included and some other really affordable gifts if you are on a budget! I know I am! For Father’s Day I love to get the men something to wear and one of their favorite snacks. It’s a fun combination and I know a way to every man’s heart is through his stomach, so it typically makes them happy. For my dad, that is sunflower seeds and for Ryan’s dad, that is cashews.

Happy Friday! I am PUMPED that it is the weekend because this week has been a struggle after the long weekend. My kids haven’t been sleeping and have been a little stir crazy because of all the rain, so we are very ready for a couple more days off so we can spend a lot of quality time together! One of the trends I have been loving this season are straw totes. I ordered a couple of totes last weekend during all the sales (ironically one of them was not on sale, though) and I am in love with them! I am not one of those women who gets pregnant, gains 20 to 25 pounds and looks amazing the second she gives birth. It has taken me a lot of strong will, determination, dieting and exercise to get back to my “normal” after each pregnancy and has also taken several months. Even now, I am almost 7 months postpartum and still have 5 lbs. to lose. It is a process for me, and not an easy one. Because of all the struggles I had during my third pregnancy (placenta previa, a vitamin D deficiency and gallbladder issues) and even some health issues postpartum, I decided it was time to get myself really healthy.

Memorial Day Weekend 2017

Our Memorial Day weekend was full of carbs, grilled meat, swimming, and family! We had such a wonderful time celebrating my little cousin’s birthday on Saturday night with a cookout at my grandparent’s house! Sunday was pretty relaxing – we went to church and then got caught up on some house work! Monday we swam and grilled ribs and watched Harry Potter while the kids napped. It was a great day!

You guys know I’m a bit of a sale junky by now.. right? I follow the good sales like Pippa follows a piece of dropped food under the table. Seriously. It’s a problem…but not really. Kind of a good problem. I hate paying full price for things because with a little patience, you can normally find what you’ve been coveting on super sale. Take today for instance! Over Fifty Memorial Day Outfit Ideas (Under $50)

I love red white and blue fashion. It is one of my favorite things about summer. I love these colors put together, I love showing my love for my country (no matter the state of our politics) and I love finding adorable fashion that doesn’t break the bank.
