I am 32 weeks pregnant and struggling. This past week has been a hard one. I have been sick every day, but it worsened when I went to one of our local consignment sales on Saturday. It’s held in a basement with no air conditioning and people were packed in there like sardines. What us mothers will do for a bargain. Sigh. I was relieved to see I wasn’t the only one – and not the only pregnant woman, either – struggling down there, I got way too overheated. I almost didn’t make it back to my car, but luckily I had my mom with me who was able to help me get there without falling out. I have naturally low blood pressure, so fainting has occurred in my past, but I have never fainted while pregnant and really don’t want to.
Once I got home, I got really sick. I haven’t felt right since. I have rested, drank lots of fluids, etc. but nothing seems to be helping. I have hardly eaten or kept anything down in the last week and it has been worrying me. I am thankful that I go to the doctor on Friday to check on things.
One thing that has gotten better is my round-ligament pain. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve lost weight this week or this amazing Belly Bandit support tank! I think it may be a little bit of both. I have loved this tank so much and it has given me a lot of relief! It’s comfortable to wear under everything! I have been wearing a lot of swing dresses and tee-shirts and it goes great under both! It also helps prevent stretch marks because it holds in moisture and protects your clothes from whatever stretch mark lotions/oils you are using which is a huge added bonus! It’s built-in belly support has done wonders for me this past week and I also love that it will grow with my belly and restrict back with me after birth, too! It will be great for postpartum. I have also worn the Flawless Belly which is also wonderful. It holds in my coconut oil, protecting my clothes while lending a little extra support. When I don’t need to wear a tank under my clothes, this little baby is great!
My pregnancies with my boys have not been easy. I have been sick (both times) more than I haven’t been. (Hence why I didn’t post yesterday). I’ve really been frustrated this time because unlike with Hampton, I have two toddlers this time around and they don’t understand that mommy doesn’t feel good. Ryan has been out of town again this week which has been very difficult, so I am honestly getting so ready to have this baby. I do hope he waits at least until the end of October, but by then I know I will be more than ready for him to be here.
Some positive things that are happening this week? I am excited to go check on baby, Friday! We will hopefully schedule my third trimester ultrasound and I am really ready to see him again! He is moving all the time – day and night. My other babies were the same way, so it is not surprising, but I love feeling him move because it makes me feel like he is okay in there.
We still haven’t settled on a name. A lot of my friends an family have been asking me, and we are definitely struggling with the name game. Why are boy names so hard? If you have any suggestions, let me know! We are open to them, for sure! 😉

I hope you feel better soon! And my parents had the hardest time picking a name for me! “Hannah” was their compromise between “Sophie” (Mom’s choice) and “Rhiannon” (Dad’s choice)… not sure how! My point is don’t worry, you’ll pick the perfect name for him! <3 Sending you big hugs!
