Happy Friday! We made it through another week and I am SO looking forward to the weekend a.k.a a couple of days “off” of all the hectic-ness (it’s a word…now ;))! Who’s with me? This month has been crazy for my crew. More ear infections, doctor visits, and ultimately tubes for my two youngest ones earlier this week. We had a lot of positive moments as well. Valentine’s day, dates with our littles and I got a fresh new haircut! It feels so much better and I am absolutely loving it! I thought it would be fun to share some of my outfits again this month! Can you believe February is already coming to an end? I sure can’t, but spring break is calling my name! So, I say Bring It On, March!

I used to blame my years of dance – where I literally lived in a bun or ponytail – for my hair-breakage and split-ends. Now I blame my mom-bun. Its funny how things change so much, but sort of stay the same. My hair is naturally wavy/curly/frizzy, but add in lots of southern sun and hair ties and you’ve got a full-on mess of a situation. It’s true (just see my before photo below). I have always had split ends, and after reading about the causes of them, it is no wonder!

Happy Friday! I thought it would never get here! One of my favorite things about Saturdays are that we don’t have to get up and go first thing in the morning. I enjoy taking my time with my cup of coffee and staying in my pjs for most of the morning (if I’m lucky). This is the last weekend before Valentine’s day and I am going to be rushing around trying to get everything for my man, babies and their class parties. I’m also going to figure out our plans for the big day. We are all about keeping things casual, which is where this east outfit comes in. I am all about a good sweater, but this one takes the cake. Bell sleeves, pink and gray stripes and super soft material? Yes, yes and yes! I have officially found the perfect Valentine’s Day sweater!

Give me all the pink and red this Valentine’s day! These days, staying in and celebrating at home is much easier (and the way we prefer) because…kids. Normally by 7p.m. we are exhausted and ready to chill, so going out rarely sounds exciting. Just being honest, even if that does sound lame. I’ll take a romantic homemade dinner and Netflix over a crowded restaurant and forking out money for a babysitter any night. This Valentines day, we will be staying in, but whether you are going out on the town, to a fancy restaurant, or staying in your pjs, I have put together the most perfect and affordable Valentine outfits for you!

Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone ha a great time at the Justin Timberlake concert, I mean, Super Bowl, last night! We enjoyed getting together with some of our friends and it was a great time! I thought it would be fun to share some of my recent outfits from January. I didn’t do a whole lot of buying because I was trying to save some money (remember my New years goals?) and am proud to say I did great! However, I did make a couple of purchases on February 2nd. We can’t be good all the time. So, I can’t wait to show you some of the newbies once they come in! In the new year, I have heard so much about health plans, diets, fitness goals, etc. It’s the same every year, and this year, I have been right there with the rest of the world. Wanting to lose weight but mainly be healthier all around. My diet hasn’t been great since having Weston and I have taken so many months off of exercising that it would be embarrassing to say. I am happy to report that I have gotten back into a routine and already feel so much better! I have a long journey ahead of me and the ever losing swimsuit season is hanging over my head, but it is keeping me motivated.

This may be a weird place to start, but lately I have been a very “in the moment” blogger, and this is something I have wanted to talk about for a while, so why not start here? For the last couple of years, my “work week” has started on Sunday evenings. I can tell a huge difference in when I get those 2 hours of work done on this night and when I don’t, and they really do make or break my entire week as far as blogging is concerned.

Valentine’s day is right around the corner, and I don’t know about you, but I love celebrating with my husband! Let’s get real, though, most of the time we celebrate by staying in and cooking a yummy dinner after we get the kids to bed and then cuddle on the couch and watch a movie! Casual Valentine’s day for the win! However, if you happen to have a babysitter and are going out on a date this year, this is a great outfit to wear! I bought this top because I knew it would be gorgeous for a Valentine’s day look, but it will also be a great top to transition into spring and even summer. The sleeves are not full length and the top is thin (you need a came under it) so it is cool and would be adorable paired with jean shorts in the summer. It fits true to size.
