Hi everyone – I’m Jackie and I am so excited to be guest posting on Logan’s blog! I blog over at Jackie Jade – where I talk about decorating and updating our 1940s home. I also blog about what is inspiring me in home decor and in fashion. We are also slowly starting to plan out our wedding and I post tons of photos of my pugs too!

I don’t think I am alone in my dreams of spring. I live in western Pennsylvania and it seems like winter is lasting forever. I can’t wait to wear t-shirts and sandals. For my home, I can’t wait to bring some spring in as well.


One of the easiest ways to update your home decor is to change up your pillows. It’s a great way to change the whole look of the room and there are some great affordable options out there too.

A Wedding, An Engagement, and A Baby

Hello loves! This past weekend, Ryan and I traveled to Huntsville (north Alabama) for our good friend’s wedding. Ryan was a groomsman and looked pretty smokin’ hot if I do say so myself.

It was such a wonderful day getting to watch two friends say their vows in front of loved ones. It was very emotional and one of the sweetest weddings I’ve ever been to. We were able to spend time with friends we have not seen in a while which was nice.

Just before the wedding began, I received a phone call from my cousin (who is more like a sister) with some pretty exciting news! Zana is engaged!!! Her and Landon have been together for nearly 5 years, so it is about time he put a ring on it! I am so proud and absolutely thrilled for them!

On Sunday, I attended my best friend’s baby shower. She is due in less than 4 weeks now! I can’t wait to meet that sweet baby!

Needless to say, this weekend was filled with love, excitement, family and friends. What a blessing to be surrounded by such encouraging people.
