Happy Friday! I thought it would never get here! One of my favorite things about Saturdays are that we don’t have to get up and go first thing in the morning. I enjoy taking my time with my cup of coffee and staying in my pjs for most of the morning (if I’m lucky). This is the last weekend before Valentine’s day and I am going to be rushing around trying to get everything for my man, babies and their class parties. I’m also going to figure out our plans for the big day. We are all about keeping things casual, which is where this east outfit comes in. I am all about a good sweater, but this one takes the cake. Bell sleeves, pink and gray stripes and super soft material? Yes, yes and yes! I have officially found the perfect Valentine’s Day sweater!

Give me all the pink and red this Valentine’s day! These days, staying in and celebrating at home is much easier (and the way we prefer) because…kids. Normally by 7p.m. we are exhausted and ready to chill, so going out rarely sounds exciting. Just being honest, even if that does sound lame. I’ll take a romantic homemade dinner and Netflix over a crowded restaurant and forking out money for a babysitter any night. This Valentines day, we will be staying in, but whether you are going out on the town, to a fancy restaurant, or staying in your pjs, I have put together the most perfect and affordable Valentine outfits for you!

After a week of snow, spring is definitely in the air today. It’s warmer and I can’t help but dream of spring pastels and floral prints! You guys know I’m a bit of a sale junky by now.. right? I follow the good sales like Pippa follows a piece of dropped food under the table. Seriously. It’s a problem…but not really. Kind of a good problem. I hate paying full price for things because with a little patience, you can normally find what you’ve been coveting on super sale. Take today for instance! The Nordstrom Half Yearly sale has officially begun and I am in awe of the beautiful clothes on sale. I’m done. I found my dress for the season. This tee dress is so gorgeous, amazing quality and I love all of the little details. The entire back of this adorable dress, buttons. I love it because you can wear it fully buttoned or unbutton a few on the top or bottom for a completely different look! I can’t wait to play around with it a bit more! Made well sent me some clothes this month, and I have adored everything I have put on. It remains on of my favorite stores and their jeans are still my favorites. They fit me perfectly. The thing that I never have to worry about when shopping at Madewell is the quality of my purchases. Everything is amazing quality down to their tee shirts. I have owned my button down buffalo plaid shirt from them for years and it still looks like new!

This week, my kids have all had big milestones! Sophie turned TWO on Monday! I can’t believe my baby girl is two. It doesn’t seem right. My baby boy turned 6 months on Wednesday. How has it already been half a year? And my Hampton had his end of the year spring program at school yesterday! He did great! Did you catch my video on IG stories? We were SO proud and made fools of ourselves ooo-ing and ahh-ing over him the entire performance while also videoing and taking a million photos. It was hilarious.

Recently, I noticed my diaper bag getting heavier and heavier. I decided to finally clean it out, go through everything and reevaluate what I really needed to keep in there for my three babies. I found out quickly that I had accumulated a lot of extras that did not need to be in there. I definitely have to carry a diaper bag because my kids are all very young and still need quite a few things.

And just like that we are less than a month away from Mother’s Day! Mother’s Day weekend has always been a big weekend for my family. My younger brother was born on Mother’s Day and we always enjoy celebrating him along with my sweet mom! For the last 6+ years, I have also had the pleasure of celebrating my MIL. Both of these women are so special to me and it has always been so wonderful having a day where we love on them extra hard and let them know how much they are appreciated, loved and cared for. 3 and a half years ago, something changed. I became a mother. The most precious name I’ve ever been called. The most meaningful name, role, job, title. Since that day, I have felt just as special on Mother’s Day. My family and wonderful husband has made sure of that.

In true fashion (see what I did there?) I wanted to round up some of my favorite dresses for Mother’s Day that are under $100! Every mom deserves something special to wear on that day, so if you are one of those women (I’m looking at you mom) who never buys herself anything, this is the time and occasion to do it! You deserve it!
