A Week of Milestones

This week, my kids have all had big milestones! Sophie turned TWO on Monday! I can’t believe my baby girl is two. It doesn’t seem right. My baby boy turned 6 months on Wednesday. How has it already been half a year? And my Hampton had his end of the year spring program at school yesterday! He did great! Did you catch my video on IG stories? We were SO proud and made fools of ourselves ooo-ing and ahh-ing over him the entire performance while also videoing and taking a million photos. It was hilarious.

Do you notice a pattern here? Time. It is going by entirely too fast. It makes me happy to see them healthy, growing and doing so well, but it makes me sad at the same time. The selfish part of me wants them to stay little forever and never grow tired of snuggling on the couch or letting me kiss them goodbye. I know that this won’t last forever, and I’m happy, really! But I’m a little sad, too. Needless to say, I’ve been a blubbering mother over here this week. Too many major milestones for one week.

In other happy news, we are celebrating Sophie’s birthday this weekend with family at our new neighborhood pool! I can’t wait to have the rest of our family over to see our house! It is going to be a fun time celebrating our sweet baby girl!
