Fall and early winter in the south is a little crazy. It can go from 85 degrees to 40 in the same day. Every day is different and it can be so hard to plan your outfits accordingly. Throw in being pregnant and it can seem impossible at times. I have been known to wear a sweater to take the kids to school and by the time I pick them up, it’s so hot and I am miserable. No one wants that. This year, I have been layering and it has made life so much easier. I thought it would be fun so share some of my favorite layering pieces with y’all that can work with or without a bump because it can be really tricky figuring out how to layer during pregnancy!
I know many of you do not have the LiketoKnow.it app and prefer to shop through links on your computer, so I love to do outfit round-ups to make it easy for you to shop all my looks in one place at least once a month in my “What I Wore” posts! If you don’t have the app, but are interested in downloading it, it is totally free and I highly recommend it because it is the easiest way to shop all of your favorite blogger’s posts! Just download the app and search for my Instagram name (logan_can) and all of my shoppable images will be there in one place. Otherwise, you can reference my looks right here on the blog in these posts or under the “shop my Instagram” tab! Here are a few of my favorite outfits from the month of October!
What I Wore: October
Every time I share my try on sessions on Insta stories, you guys seem to really enjoy them, so I thought I would incorporate more on them to my blog as an easy resource for you to come back to. Also, for those of you who prefer to shop on your computer, this will be here to easily reference.
As always, I do receive a small commission when you purchase through my links at no extra charge to you. My commission makes these try-ons worth the time it takes to try things on, take and edit photos and gather all the links for you, so thank you for taking the time to click through my blog links. I appreciate it so much.
Try on Sessions | LOFT October:
Everything at LOFT is currently 40% off with code “FRIENDS.”
Now that September is here, it is officially fall, right? At least, it is in my book! I honestly cannot believe that I haven’t pulled my pumpkins out yet, but that may have to change this weekend! I’m definitely in the mood to decorate for the changing season! Lately, sitting down to blog has not come easy, but I promise I’m not quitting on you. I have been sort of thinking about which direction I want to go from here as well as adjusting to our new schedules and figuring out some office hours has been a struggle. I’m still working it all out, but I am definitely going to make more of an effort to write more because I miss talking to you guys and writing in general.
After the Labor Day weekend and searching through the sales, I honestly didn’t take advantage of many, but I found some great new arrivals that have been added to my wish list! I ordered a few things and will be sharing on my IG stories over the next few days. Nordstrom is also having a great sale on some fall things and I will be sharing those as well, so be sure to follow along on Instagram!
I feel like the NSALE has been on point as far as shoes are concerned! They are so adorable this year and most have been fully stocked! I also love the wide selection of booties as well as mules this year. They are good, friends! I also love this bag that I snagged the first night of the sale! It is so cute, goes with everything and is big enough to fit all the things! My things, kid’s things, everything! It is a really great size and under $50! Such a steal! The scarves are also really cute this year and I am obsessed with this hat and this one! The hats are so much better this year and they were last year.
One thing I really wanted to find this year was some good and affordable denim and I could not be more thrilled with the selection of affordable denim in the sale this year! I’m sharing some splurge styles as well for those of you who love premium denim. Personally, I like to invest in classic styles that I know I’ll have for a long time and buy affordable trendy styles. In this post, I’ll be highlighting my favorite jeans from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 as well as picks under $100! Head to this post to see my picks under $50 and be on the lookout this week for accessories and shoes and athleisure posts!
Whew, yesterday was a whirlwind and I still sort of feel “off” after pulling an all-nighter. Does that mean I’m getting old? haha Thank you so much for your support through all of the crazy-ness with the Nordstrom site being down yesterday. I am excited to round up a few of my favorite clothes under $50! That is probably my most requested. I will be sharing shoes later, but be sure to watch my insta-stories later today where I will share a few of them that have come in. I’ll be putting it all in a post for you once they all arrive. I know most of you are shopping public access, so I hope these posts will be great resources to come back to and shop from once public access begins on July 20th.
It’s funny how much you change through the years. A couple of years ago, I looked in my closet and all I saw were white, black and gray. I decided to add a lot of color, and now my closet looks like a rainbow vomited in there. I realized that I dd not own a single black top (that wasn’t a basic tee) and so when I saw this cutie, I knew I needed it. I have already worn it so much since purchasing a couple of weeks ago and it has quickly become one of my go-tos! The ruffles on the sleeves are just darling and I love the dotted mesh detail on the sleeves as well. The front of the top is a blouse material, but the back is a tee shirt material and it is so soft.
Happy Wednesday! I love this day because it means we are half way through the week and getting closer to the weekend! I am still recovering from the chaos that happened on Monday – Cyber Monday/Dr. Visits, etc. I thought it would be fun to do something different today, so I am sharing what my top ten most bought items were in November! I have been paying a lot of attention to these stats to see what you guys are loving the most, and it’s safe to say that the weather is finally cooling off because y’all loved Sweaters and Boots this month!
