Easter Basket Ideas for Toddlers

March 22, 2017

I can’t believe Easter is already right around the corner and I am already brainstorming Easter basket ideas for my babies! This year seems to be going by in the blink of an eye. Maybe it’s just me? We have still been in our newborn, “I have three under three” phase over here, so excuse me if I sound a little crazy. #sleepdeprived It is so hard to decide what to put in them this year. Do I want to do a theme, or just fill it with random things that they need? So, come brainstorm with me…

Easter Basket Ideas for Toddlers

Easter Basket Ideas:

Beach Theme Basket:

swimsuits, sunglasses, flip flops, bucket and shovel

Springtime Play Basket:

chalk, gloves, shovel, bubbles

Rainy Day Basket:

Raincoat, boots, umbrella, coloring book

Indoor Play Basket:

toys, coloring book, play dough (and tool set), puzzles

Educational Basket:

backpack, lunch box, yum box, activity book, flash cards

Honestly, I might do a wide variety of all of these for my kids. Sophie will start school in the fall (just two days a week) and so she will need a yum box and other things that Hamp already has. I absolutely love this holiday and enjoy filling their baskets with all the things they need and things they have been wanting. Just the other day, Hampton told me he was going to be really good so the Easter bunny would bring him a “Flynn and Belle” (Thomas the train characters). So, the Easter bunny just might have to deliver on that. 😉

What are you putting in your kid’s Easter baskets?

I love these ideas! The Springtime play basket is a great one. I will have to remember to do something like this…last year my son didn’t really understand Easter, although once he picked up on the chocolate Easter egg hunt, he had a blast, haha!
