Thanksgiving this year was hectic, loud, crazy, tiring and completely wonderful! Doing anything with the three kids right now is very difficult. We are still adjusting to life with three and taking them all out is not the easiest. Three kids pitching fits and crying in Target is less than thrilling. Thanksgiving was very tiring because we were going all day, but it was so fun. I love getting to see all of our family in the same day. It is so nice to catch up and let the kids run wild outside. They had a lot of fun, but we went all day without naps, so by the end of the day, we were all exhausted and ready to get home.
As you can see, my kids were NOT having the whole family photo thing. Weston did great and Sophie was just as happy as can be once she got some food in her. Hampton loved riding Paw Paw’s golf cart and playing with all 500 cousins. I’m just kidding, but there are a lot of us, especially on my side of the family. All of my cousins have children and so there are many little kids and babies. 17 kids 12 years and under, and another on the way to be exact. Did I mention it is loud over there? haha We have joked about possibly renting a community center or something next year. Joked, but not really, because we may have to.
Hampton got to see one of his cousins that he doesn’t see often at Ryan’s family’s house and he enjoyed playing with him as well as the others. Weston held up pretty well. By held up, I mean he slept pretty much the entire day so that he could keep mommy and daddy up all night. Got to love him!
Friday, I went black Friday shopping with the girls and just about got all of my shopping done! Sunday we took Weston to church for the first time. It was a little crazy getting there by 8:15…in fact, we were running about 5 minutes late AND I missed half of the service because someone decided he needed to nurse the whole time. All in all, it was so nice to get out with him again and take him to meet everyone. He is such a sweetheart, and I hope he stays tat way forever. The rest of my weekend consisted of football watching, Gilmore Girl’s binging and kid wrestling!
How was your Thanksgiving? Did you travel? Binge watch Gilmore Girls on Netflix?
