I haven’t done an outfit round-up in a hot minute, so I thought, why not do one today? I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite outfits over the last week or so. I may make these “What I Wore” posts a little more regular so that I can help answer sizing questions and it can be a good reference for you guys to come back to!

Over the weekend, I posted my 4th of July fashion picks for the family including swimwear, tanks, dresses, accessories and more! Definitely check it out if you haven’t gotten your outfits for the 4th yet! Yesterday, I didn’t post so that I could take some time to work on content and take photos. I’m trying to get in a groove of posting daily, again but I decided this around the time the kids got out of school, so that backfired on me a little bit and I haven’t had as much time as I would like to devote to writing daily. However, bare with me because I will get it figured out soon. It is definitely helpful when you guys tell me things you would like to see on the blog, so keep your suggestions coming! I appreciate them more than you know!

I absolutely love the 4th of July! My entire family comes into town and I get to see all of my cousins, eat good food and watch the fireworks. We always have such a good time together and I am really looking forward to it this year. I also absolutely love wearing red, white and blue. It is such a classic combination that really works. This year in particular, I have seen the cutest clothes for the kids and the best tees for the mamas! In regards to my past 4th of July outfits, I’ve been known to go completely decked out in the American flag, or be a little more subtle with denim shorts and a white tee. I haven’t quite decided what I’m wearing this year, but I’m sort of going to go with what I’m feeling that morning. HA!

I am so happy it is Thursday! Ryan is home! It’s been a WEEK at our house, y’all. I could tell lots of poop stories from the week, but I’ll spare you. I’ll just leave it at… I got to take the most amazing bath last night after my knight in shining armor walked in and it was glorious. This week, Thursday is just as good as Friday. I am super excited to share this cute summer dress with y’all, and like the title says, it is literally the only one you will need this summer!

I don’t own a ton of jumpsuits, but when I tried this one on last week while we were in Jacksonville, I fell in love. Do you ever put on something and immediately think of ten different ways you could wear it? This striped jumpsuit did that for me. I could have styled it many more ways and will give you more ideas, but for today, I am sharing the jumpsuit styled three ways! I also really love it by itself like I shared in this post earlier this week!

When it comes to fashion, my taste is all over the place. Depending on my mood, I may be wearing Lilly Pulitzer one day and Free People the next. I don’t like to put boundaries or limitations on it because it is very much how I express myself and I think it’s important to keep an open mind when it comes to different styles. This jumpsuit can go from date night to running errands and from summer to fall with a few transitional pieces and I really love that about it.

While we were in Jacksonville last week, Ryan and I got away for a couple of hours and went out for coffee and did a little shopping. When in Jacksonville, we always make a point to go to Nordstrom because we do not live near one. It’s always a lot of fun seeing the brands and things that I’ve been eyeing online, in person. I also like being able to try things on to see how they fit. This trip was a successful one and there are so many cute things in the store right now. I was on a major budget because I am already saving for the Anniversary Sale next month, but it was not a completely wasted trip. I tried on a few things in the Nordstrom dressing room that were too adorable not to snag. Now, on to the try-on!

It’s time for another top ten! May was a great month – largely due to the Nordstrom sale (that is still sort of happening). Things are still on major markdown and there are some great buys. I am so drawn to red, white and blue during the summer months, and in my opinion, there’s nothing wrong with being a little patriotic! White tops have been my obsession this year because they are easy and go with everything! I love a clean white top paired with denim shorts, overalls or a cute skirt. It just doesn’t get any better than that. So, I have noticed this trend in my wardrobe through the last few snapshots I’ve taken of my outfits and I thought I would share the looks in a post for y’all – you know, in case you’re into that sort of thing, too!

You guys know how much I love shopping at the LOFT. They kill it with their new arrivals every single week! I have been loving all the bright colors for summer and this beautiful dress is no exception. If you are wanting to add a little color to your wardrobe this summer, this is a great option! It is finally feeling like summertime in Alabama! I absolutely love it. What I don’t love? It going from 50 degrees to 90 overnight…literally. BUT, I am thankful it is warm and staying warm because my kids will be out of school as of tomorrow afternoon, so I am seeing a bunch of pool days in our near future! Speaking of pool days, don’t forget to check out my post on teaching your children how to swim! It has a great resource with tons of tips! Anyone else teaching their kids to swim this summer? It is a daunting task. We tried to teach Hampton last summer, but he spent the majority of the season absolutely scared to death of the water. This is the year!
