I can’t believe we are nearly a week into 2016 and I am just now writing my first post of the new year. Can you guess why? The new year is bringing many new changes to me and my blog and I m so excited about them. I finally made the switch from Blogger to self-hosted WordPress which I LOVE. This change has been a well thought out decision I’ve been going back and forth on for over a year now, so it was a long time coming. I figured since I am getting more serious about my blog and have turned it into my full-time job, I need to make it look more professional. So, what do you guys think?
2015 was a huge year for our little family. So many wonderful things happened and we were more blessed than I could have ever imagined. Here is a look back on last year:
January

We rang in the new year as a family of (almost) 4 shortly after we found out we were having a baby girl! Hampton turned 15 months old and I finally started getting the hang of dressing the bump with baby #2!
February

I shared some heart healthy snacks just in time for Valentine’s Day where I wore the cutest tunic from Pink Blush! You guys really loved 15 Books to Read in 2015, so definitely be on the lookout for a 2016 book list soon! 😉
March
In March, I shared Sophie-Rae’s nursery decor and a couple of favorite Etsy finds. Hamp had his first haircut which was a little emotional, and I shared Blogging Tips for Beginners and Playdate Ideas for Toddlers which y’all enjoyed the most that month.
April

April was a fun month. It was my last 4 weeks of pregnancy, but we really enjoyed our last month as a family of three before welcoming our baby girl. We celebrated Hampton’s second Easter, you were all very supportive when I shared my feelings of how nervous I was to have my second child, we loved popsicles together and shared in our love of furry best friends just before…
May

My beautiful princess was born on May 1st. My beautiful, perfect May Day baby! She inspired me to write about my favorite breastfeeding snack ideas and 15 other uses for Huggies wipes – because, let’s be real moms, we use them for everything! We also spent baby girl’s first Memorial Day remembering all those who served our beautiful country.
June

This month was all about summer. I shared my favorite swimsuits, my summer reading list, and How to Make the Most of your Summer! Oh, and I can’t leave out one of my most popular posts from the year. I can’t blame you, really. These s’mores were absolutely delicious!
July
Celebrating SR’s first 4th of July was too much fun. We had a great day gathered around family and the pool, of course! These playdate snacks were your favorite this month, but I must admit that the response to this honest post meant the world to me.
August

I shared a yummy edible cookie dough recipe and then I turned 27 and my sweet husband bought me an adorable Lilly Pulitzer romper that I am a little obsessed with. Hampton broke his ankle one week before we left for our cruise to the Bahamas. It’s okay, though. We still had a blast!
September

I love fall and this year was no exception. I had a great time making a burlap wreath and going on some really fun fall dates with my hubby. I also struggled with a little writer’s block which ironically gave me the inspiration for this post. I sure do love irony. My Frankenguac was also a favorite this month. It is the perfect recipe for any Halloween party. Bonus points for being healthy.
October

October is my favorite month! We had lots of fun Halloween celebrations like Trunk or Treat and then we celebrated our 4th anniversary, Ryan’s 30th birthday, Hampton’s 2nd birthday and then SR’s first Halloween! It was quite a month.
November

I named this month “blessed November.” Why? Our house sold and we were able to move into my parent’s house until we find a new home to move into! Of, course, right before we found out about our move (for sure) I had redecorated our home a bit. I shared my cozy fall favorites and 6 things to look forward to the week of Thanksgiving!
December

We had our big move over Thanksgiving, but officially closed on our house on the 1st. I wrote about getting fit after baby #2 but definitely enjoyed my sweets throughout the holiday season. It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t. I shared our Christmas Traditions that we enjoyed with SR for the first time this year! We had a wonderful Christmas and we were extremely blessed by all of you.
Thank you for supporting my blog this past year! I hope you will stick around for everything coming up in this new year!
