Happy…Tuesday. I have had to think about what day it is all morning. Does anyone else get super thrown off after a long weekend? I hope y’all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend with your loved ones and spent some time remembering those who have given up their lives for our freedom. Our weekend was spent with close friends that we do not get to see very often which was the highlight of our week, and spent with family! It was a great time together and we were continuously reminded of our blessings.

It is so fun to watch our kids play with our college friend’s kids. It is crazy how much has changed over the last ten years. And yes, it’s been TEN years. SO crazy. Our babies ran around outside and played in the water a few times throughout the weekend. Ryan and I also got to go on a date and it was so nice to get away for a bit. Isn’t it funny, though how we crave a break and then once we get one, we miss the kids and countdown until we are back with them again? haha The mom life struggle.
We played outdoors a good bit despite the tropical storm. It sort of hit us in waves, but it didn’t get too bad here. Today, however, is another story. We are getting ready to go on vacation, so it has been a madhouse with the kids going stir crazy! Send me all the coffee!
In other much less important news, the Bachelorette started last night! Who is watching? Ryan and I were hard core team Becca during Arie’s season, but the truth is, she deserves to start over with her own season. I think we can all agree she is better off with a fresh start. So, I am excited to watch her season. We also did a little shopping for the kiddos over the weekend and I’ll be sharing some of those purchases soon! Some of the sales are still going strong: LOFT is 40% off + free shipping today, Old Navy is still having a huge sale that is worth checking out – especially for kids! Their toddler clothes are so adorable!
This weekend was a little crazy, mostly wonderful and the memories are absolutely cherished!
