10 Bible Verses for Thanksgiving

October 16, 2017

I love this time of year. It really makes me reflect on all of our blessings and helps me refocus on what really matters in life. Family, our health, jobs, and YOU. I am so thankful for you, friends. Every year I am continually humbled by how many of you stop to read, comment or like my posts. You encourage me daily. For every troll/ ugly comment that I receive, there are 20 of you that fill me up with encouragement and good. Without you, I wouldn’t have found my passion. I wouldn’t absolutely love my job, and I probably wouldn’t be at home with my babies.

In the spirit of the season of family, friends and thankfulness, I wanted to share some of my favorite bible verses on thankfulness to hopefully encourage you today. Also, there is a little giveaway if you make it to the end! 😉

Bible Verses for Thanksgiving:

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! – Psalms 107:1

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. – James 1:17

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. – Colossians 3:15

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! – Psalms 100:4

And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. “Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. – Isaiah 12:4-5

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! – Psalms 95:2

You are my God, and I will give thanks to you; you are my God; I will extol you. – Psalms 118:28

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. – 2 Corinthians 9:6
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. – Romans 5:1
