We received products from Gap Kids in exchange for an honest review. #GapToSchool
My kid’s first day of school went better than expected. Don’t you love it when that happens? They both walked right in their classrooms like they owned the place! It was a magical feeling. Even Weston cooperated – thanks in a big part to his new carrier that he sat in like a champ! You know what they say… you have to dress the part… something like that? Well, that is just what we are doing this year thanks to Gap kids and Just for Me Too!
On the kid’s first day of school, they wore these adorable personalized tees by Just For Me Too Boutique! We adore this Easy shop! They make the cutest appliqué tee for your little ones. I am already swooning over their football and Halloween tees! The kids looked so cute and were comfortable, too! The recipe for a successful day!
Gap Kids sent us some back to school gear that we had a fit over! It is still a little to warm for jeans here, but they tried an outfit on for me and I died over how cute their jeans are! Gap has always made some of my favorite kid clothes and these are no exception. Sophie’s skinny jeans kill me! I love the wash ad the patchwork on them. They are trendy and perfect for playing! I also love Hampton’s collared shirt that they sent him! It is great for picture day! They also sent a couple of basic tees and these cute backpacks! What a fun surprise that was! You can never have too many bags for the kiddos!
So, now that we are halfway through their first school week, I can honestly say that having two in school is going to be a lot more work, and I can’t imagine how life will be when Weston starts. I do know that we are already adjusting to our new schedule really well (knock on wood) and the kids have been rockstars. That just goes to show that my theory on kids and schedules remains true for my babies. They do so much better on a schedule. Sophie passed out in the car on the way home from her first day and slept for 3 hours. That’s what I call success (and time to write this blog post ;))!
