How to Give Back This Holiday Season

December 7, 2016

Give Back with CARE

It is so easy to get wrapped up in the holidays and in our wish lists  and making our Christmas absolutely perfect for our children – who fortunately do not NEED anything! This season, Ryan and I are cutting back on gifts for each other and even dialing it down for our kids a bit (hopefully they are too young to notice) and we are going to give back a little bit more. There are two local charities that are close to our hearts that we really enjoy helping with every year, but this year I wanted to share another way you can give back and help change the world!

CARE Gift Catalog

This year, if you do your holiday shopping with CARE, your money will go directly to women and children who need it and will have a great impact on their lives. The girls and their families, who are featured in CARE’s gift catalog, will share their stories and dreams of their futures. You will be able to meet and interact with them on facebook.com/carefans from December 5th-16th. This is a great opportunity to see exactly where your money goes and the people you are helping!

CARE

While my daughter wants all things kitchen and Frozen related this year, check out what the little girls in third world countries are asking for. Watch the video below!

Read more about how you can help HERE and be sure to stop by the Facebook page to see how you are impacting the lives of many women and children!

I love this so much! It’s important to teach our kids to think outside of themselves – especially at Christmas time!
