Holiday Gift Guide for the New Baby

November 22, 2016

Last year was Sophie’s first Christmas and this year will be Weston’s. I love firsts, but there is something about the holidays that is even more special. Baby’s first Christmas in particular is such a sweet time. I love celebrating Christ’s birth and remembering my own baby’s birth. It is a wonderful time of reflection and remembering why we are all here in the first place. It’s also fun to dress up a new baby and bundle him in red and green and all the cable knit and flannel everything. We are all so smitten with our new little boy over here and these are a few things that we have loved and need to be on your new baby’s holiday gift guide!

Holiday Gift Guide for a New Baby

Dockatot – I LOVE our Dockatot! Out of everything we bought and received for baby #3, this is my absolute favorite item! I wish I had had one with my first two babies! I am even thinking of getting Sophie the Grand size which is great for 9 months – 36 months of age! This co-sleeper/lounger is great for when we are traveling and so easy to tote all over the house! Weston sleeps so well in it and loves being in it! It is all natural and made with 100% cotton and is totally breathable. It is also very easy to clean! you just unzip the cover and throw it in the wash!

Audrey's Bear Swaddle and Milestone Cards

Milestone Cards – I love these fun little cards! It is a unique way to document baby’s firsts and week-by-week marks! Again, I wish I had had these with the other two! If you visit milestone-world.com, they even have free printable you can print in addition to these great cards!

Onesies and Sleepers – Finn and Emma make the softest and cutest clothes for your new babe! I received a onesie and outfit from them and love how stylish and soft they are. All of their clothes are made with G.O.T.S. certified organic cotton and non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes. All snaps and lead and nickel-free and the cloth is very forgiving allowing your baby to wear them longer. Finn and Emma have cute little wooden toys and muslin blankets as well!

Binary Baby Hammock

Binxy Baby Hammock – This is a new favorite for me. I wish I had one for my other two kids, but third time’s the charm, right? This is my savior when I take all three kids shopping with me! I can easily hook the hammock to any shopping cart and put the baby in it freeing up the larger part for Hampton and the basket for Sophie. It has been a life saver! These are for babies up to 6 months and can even hold infant car seats up to 50 pounds! Definitely a new product going on my baby must haves list!

Lorena Canals Rugs – We received this beautiful white angel wing rug and I LOVE taking photos one my babies on it. It looks adorable in our nursery and really brightens up the room. It is machine washable and natural which I love because…3 three and under. All dyes are natural and these rugs do not contain VOCs like most other carpet and rugs do. The best part? Proceeds go to support the Sakula project and provide schooling for children in India!

Dockatot

Pacifiers – My baby have all gone through phases where they preferred Mamms, Avent, etc. No matter what brand of pacifier you use, it is always a good idea to have extras. I love to include these as stocking stuffers.

Swaddles – You can NEVER have too many swaddles. All of my babies have loved being swaddled. It is the only way they would ever go to sleep. My favorites are Aden and Anias. We also have some from Little Unicorn and the softest personalized swaddles from Audrey’s Bear! I like to give these as baby gifts!

Moccasins – What baby doesn’t need a cute pair of moccasins? They are great for baby and a new walker. We love Freshly Picked and Anastasiya Design because they are such great quality!

Baby’s first Ornament: It is always a great idea to buy baby’s first ornament or help baby get a collection going. My kids love decorating their own trees and putting their ornaments on them. Go ahead and start baby’s collection now!

I received products in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting brands who support this blog.
