Third Trimester Must Haves For The Very End Of Pregnancy

October 28, 2016

It is so hard to believe that my pregnancy is coming to an end! Baby boy will be here any day now. I’m trying to enjoy every last moment until he decides to make his appearance. I’m honestly not sure if this is my last pregnancy or not, but just in case, I want to remember and enjoy every little detail and movement even though the last few weeks have been anything but pleasant. I have been very sick throughout this pregnancy and have had a lot of pain and contractions the last 3 weeks. Here are some of my third trimester must haves that have gotten me through the tough moments!

Third Trimester Must Haves

Third Trimester Must Haves:

Coconut Oil – I used this during my pregnancy with Sophie and didn’t get any new stretch marks, so this was a must for me again this pregnancy! So far, so good! Plus, it feels amazing and works wonders on your belly when you itch.

Snoogle Pregnancy Pillow – I have loved using this pillow! It supports all the right places.

Belly Bandit

Belly Bandit – I have loved using the belly bump support tank and the Belly Boost! It helps support my belly and protect my clothes from the coconut oil that I have been piling on!

Cake Maternity/Nursing Bra – I was so excited that Cake sent me this amazing nursing bra to try out. It is great quality and is so comfortable. I kind of want it in every color! I know I will enjoy using it when I am nursing in a couple of weeks as well. It doesn’t get much better than a good nursing bra. Am I right, ladies?

Lavender essential oil – I love the calming effects of this oil. I like to dab a little on at night to help me relax and sleep. It’s also great to add to a warm bath.

Leggings – Leggings are my go-to pretty much all the time, but especially during pregnancy and postpartum! They are so comfortable. These are my current favorites!

Comfy Shoes – I have been wearing my chucks and flat booties pretty much around the clock these last few weeks. I wore a pair of 3 inch booties to church a few weeks ago and my feet were swollen for a couple of days after that, so it has been flats for me since then.

Loose Dresses – they are so easy to throw on and you can’t go wrong with a loose casual dress for every day errands and to dress up for church or other occasions.

Healthy Snacks – Keeping healthy snacks around has been great for keeping my weight gain on track this time. If you don’t have junk food around, you won’t eat it. Simple as that.

Water Bottle – Drinking lots of water has saved me many nights when I have had some painful Braxton Hicks. Resting and drinking a bottle of water has helped stop them. For that, I am thankful!

What were some of your third trimester must haves?

Very nice. I have one more month before I am in my third trimester. I think I will gain all the weight then because I have yet to gain much weight (plus size woman so I have plenty of room). Thank you for this list.

The other thing I recommend for last trimester is a pregnancy belt if the mama is having a hard time with her low back. The have a double stay pully system that takes all the pressure off. They are a Godsend!

Yes, yes, yes to leggings! A total must have. I still haven’t invested in a body pillow yet – need to do that!

Definitely going to save this post for when I hit my third trimester. My pants are getting to small so I am going to have to invest in more leggings soon.
