Pumpkin Spice Makes Mama Nice

September 20, 2016

Just like Sophie’s shirt says, “Pumpkin Spice Makes Mama Nice.” When I came across this little tee, I fell in love with it! Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks, or even just the creamer sure do change a bad day around! This past weekend, my kids were very sick. Today, they are finally feeling better and acting more like themselves. Fist pump! We have had many sleepless nights these last few months, so I have been living off of coffee. Yes, even while pregnant. I know, I know, but I have been drinking a ton of water to offset the caffeine.

We are officially 33 weeks along (tomorrow) and I am getting more excited by the day! I am not prepared at all – how much preparing can you do when you are moving? We did get some really good news regarding our house over the weekend! We will be able to close at the end of October which will hopefully give us a few extra days to move in before baby boy makes his debut! To say this bit of news made me happy would be an understatement! So, excuse me while I sip my pumpkin spice and do a little happy dance!

It looks like these next 6 weeks will be full of cleaning out, going through boxes, and washing baby clothes since that is about all the preparing I can do. I am also going to enjoy every sip of coffee and every precious moment spent with my two babies before we become a family of five. Gasp. I am also making a fall bucket list to do with the kids so that we can make a lot of special memories over these next few weeks before we enter the newborn phase again. It will be a huge adjustment for us all, so I think they need to have a little special attention right now.

We were in the process of moving just before I had daughter #2 (out of 5), and boy-o-boy, do I remember how tiring that was! Be kind to yourself in the process. It will all work out just fine.
