I gained so much excess weight during my first pregnancy. I did better during my second, but I have been determined to maintain a healthy weight this go-around. The biggest issue I have is my sweet cravings. I have wanted sugar non-stop and it has been really hard to say no. The other day I searched healthy snack ideas and I finally found a solution! I can snack healthy and still have my sweet-tooth satisfied! Finding good snack ideas and choices is so easy if you know where to look!
Last week I headed to Publix to pick up a few groceries to get us by for the rest of the week until we left for the beach. I loaded up on Weight Watchers® snacks and fruit. My kids are huge fruit eaters (like me) and so I try to keep it around for a healthy snack option. That afternoon I ate my first NEW Weight Watchers® Snack Size Mocha Latte Ice Cream Bar and it was delicious! Hampton insisted on having the NEW Weight Watchers® Dark Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Bar, so I snuck a bite of his as well and have been hooked ever since. Best part? They are only 45 calories per bar. I don’t have to sacrifice my sweets! I also grabbed a bag of WW Mint Patties to carry around in my purse for when I am running errands and really need a snack. They are so convenient to tote round with me throughout the day making it easy to choose a healthier snack.
Here Are Some Healthy Snack Ideas And Tips to Help You Maintain A Healthy Weight During Pregnancy:
Drink lots of Water and limit Soda intake
Walk frequently and exercise regularly
Stay away from extremely salty foods to prevent swelling
Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables
Do sets of 10 squats multiple times a day – before you know it, you’ve done 100!
Snack healthy and smart with Weight Watchers. Here are some other great options: Healthy Pop Kettle Corn, Whipped Cream Cheese Spread with Strawberries, and WW Bite Size Solid Dark Chocolates.
So far, I’ve done very well maintaining a healthy weight gain and there is no doubt that after discovering these healthier snack options, I can continue to do so!

Your bump is sooooo cute!!!! Nothing beats prego eats in the hot summer like fudgsicles or popsicles! I’m totally stealing your squat idea. 100 squats a day would be awesome to accomplish!

I always ate healthier when I was expecting and after for nursing. Need to remember these food choices for when I want to indulge.

This probably would have been a better option than the Costco size box of Magnum bars that I some how miraculously hid from my husband and son and ate all by myself while I was pregnant…
