I have been so excited since last Friday to write this post! You guys know I was put on moderate bedrest 5 weeks ago because of some bleeding and cramping and I was diagnosed with placenta previa. Let me back up and say that I started bleeding – a lot – Thursday night. I was freaking out because this was a lot more than just spotting. I could feel baby boy moving around like he was fine which was reassuring, but all the bleeding was scaring me. I went to the doctor first thing the next morning and they ordered an ultrasound…then a second ultrasound. They still have no idea where the bleeding was coming from. That has been a little unsettling, but they also informed me that the previa has completely resolved itself! At 23 weeks pregnant! Something they didn’t think would happen until my 8th month! I am BEYOND happy and I immediately started thanking God and haven’t stopped. That was the best news this girl could have ever been given.
Let’s just say that the whole bedrest thing was not going so great with two toddlers keeping me running. I was also really missing my workouts and my anxiety has been terrible the last few weeks because of it. Exercising really does me so much good – mentally and physically. It makes all the difference. So, I have started easing back into a workout routine again this week. I started Monday once the bleeding completely stopped. I have been walking about a mile a day and following the TIU daily workouts. It has felt so great getting back into a routine and I already feel more like myself again.
I can’t tell you thank you enough for praying for me and baby boy these last few weeks. God is SO GOOD! I still can’t get over the fact that literally over night, I have a completely healthy and normal pregnancy again! My baby is very healthy and moving constantly.
In other news, pregnancy insomnia kicked in last week. Thursday night to be exact. I feel like I’ve hardly slept since then, but I know this is temporary and will pass in time. Right now I am still on cloud nine and am so thankful to be healthy again. Also, hello baby bump! Baby boy is popping out so much more than Sophie! He is measuring right on schedule, so I am not anticipating him coming early. Maybe he will let us move into our new house before his arrival? We shall see! I also chopped my hair off a couple of weeks ago and while I know I will start missing it probably really soon, I am enjoying it and haven’t looked back. This heat is killing me and I needed a new style. What do you think? Can I pull off the “lob?”
I hope you guys have a happy hump day! Who’s staying up until midnight for the Nordstrom sale?!!

I’m so glad it resolved itself! I’m pregnant with my third, too and would have been freaking out! Good for you on jumping right back on the exercise bandwagon. I had PPD after my second and exercise has made all the difference. Yay for a healthy baby + pregnancy.
