This week has been a lot of fun. We had Vacation Bible School at church. My kids really enjoyed it – until the last night. They both lost it and pitched royal fits but, it happens, right? VBS gave my kids something different to do this week which was nice. I also enjoyed doing the craft room with all of our littles. We have a ton of kids at our church and I love getting to work with them. They are so much fun. Also, hello 21 weeks! I’m over that halfway mark which is both scary and a little relieving at the same time. I am praying so hard for this baby to grow, grow, grow and hang in there. I have had a lot of cramping and pains again this week, but it has been a tough week to really relax. My MIL kept my kids for a few hours the other day and I got a lot of work related things done, but I swear I am having the hardest time relaxing. I have learned that resting does not come easy or natural to me, but for the health of my baby boy, I’m just going to have to get over it because I can tell a big difference in the days I do rest and the days I don’t.
On a positive note, Ryan came back into town late last night and is keeping the kiddos for me this afternoon while I go get my hair cut! I have been wanting to chop it for a while now (it is way too long for this heat) and I am really excited to have a little while to myself – not in bed. Follow me on Snapchat to see a little before and after action (Logancan)!
Baby boy has been moving a lot this week and every movement is so reassuring to me. I love feeling those little kicks. I am looking forward to my appointment next week to check on everything and ask my doctor the million questions that I have thought of since this diagnosis.
We have family coming to town this weekend and are looking forward to lots of food, the 4th of July parade, and celebrating lots of birthdays. July 4th is the only other weekend my entire family gets together other than Thanksgiving and Christmas and I am looking forward to seeing everyone! That reminds me! I have a new beautiful baby cousin – Adelyn – who was born earlier this week! I am dying to meet her in person. She is absolutely precious. My little boy will be the 4th baby born in our family this year! We have so. many. babies. But, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It makes things fun having such a big family and I am glad my kids will grow up with lots of cousins running around.
Sorry I rambled so much today. I had a lot to say while not really saying a while lot of anything. Funny how that happens…
What are you doing for the 4th?
