6 Things To Do After You’ve Been Sick

April 21, 2016

As I mentioned yesterday, I had a stomach virus over the weekend, but that is not the only sickness that has been going around our house. Sophie had hand, foot and mouth a couple of weeks ago as well, so I have had my essential oils diffusing and have been taking lots of precautions to make sure the sickness stays out of our house for good this time because we are so ready to feel better and get back to our normal routine. All of this has really thrown me off of everything from my exercise routine to my blogging schedule and I am definitely ready to get back to normal around here.

6 Things To Do After You've Been Sick

Here are a few things do to after you or a family member has been sick:

Clean and disinfect the house.

Clean the kids toys.

Get out of the house and get some fresh air.

Eat Healthy

Take Vitamins to boost your immune system.

Slowly get back into your exercise routine.

I’m hoping the sickness has left the house and we can have some fun this weekend, starting with the BEACH! Ryan and I are beyond excited for our little weekend getaway! I’ve been working on laundry and already started packing today! The tricky part is going to be finding our beach towels and sunscreen buried in boxes scattered throughout the house. Yikes. Wish me lots of luck…of course, there is always the option of a quick Target run, and I have a feeling that option may win out in the end.

I’m wishing all of you lots of health and if you have been sick, drink a cup of orange juice and eat a banana! That’s what my dance teacher used to tell all of us. I’m not sure if it is to boost your immune system or aid sore muscles, or both. :/

I drink OJ all the time when I’m sick. The Vitamin C can’t hurt!
