Happy Birthday, Mean Girls

April 30, 2014

Mean Girls is 10 years old today. Are you serious? Yes. Yes, I am. That means it’s been roughly 10 years since Lohan went cray. Now that’s hard to believe. I was 15 when the movie came out. So fetch, right?

Not really. I feel super old. These girls taught me so much about life, from geography,

Via
what it means to be a woman,
Via

about fashion,
Via
and ultimately, how to be the queen bee.

So here’s to you, Mean Girls! Thanks for teaching us about life.

What’s your favorite MG quote?

My favorite is either the "It's October 3rd" part or "you can't sit with us". I still LOVE mean girls!

My Favorite Blog Post of the Day!! I love mean girls, and I will definitely be watching the movie today to celebrate!!!!

I would have to say though the gold goes to…
"We gotta crack Gretchen Weiners. We crack Gretchen, and the we crack the lock on Regina's whole dirty history"…."Say Crack Again"…."Crack".

I think more than the quotes, it is insane how you could relate to the movie. Over the top yes, but in the way that there were 'Mean Girls' in every school…Whether you were one or had to deal with one, they were there.

I just love love love this movie. Though, I was 20 when it came out. Was I too old to watch it in the first place? Probably…whatever.

Some of my favorite quotes are:

    I'm a mouse, duh!

You smell like a baby prostitute.

    And none for Gretchen Wieners
