I feel like so many people are going through a rough time right now. Whether it is finances, heart aches, health issues, or tough relationships. I have friends going through all of the above and personally. I am going through some of them myself.
I wholeheartedly believe in speaking life into people. Words are so important because you can rip someone to pieces or you can lift their spirits and give them the encouragement they may need to get through the day. I wanted to give all of you a little encouragement today along with myself. I could definitely use it right now.

I love this quote because it is so true. Everyone is going through something and no matter how insignificant it may seem to you, it may be the hardest thing they’ve ever had to go through. Always be mindful of others through your words. Think before asking someone when they are going to get married because they may be struggling with commitment issues or haven’t found the right guy yet. Think before asking a married couple when they are going to have children because they might be having a hard time getting pregnant. Think before asking someone why they never smile because they may have just lost a job or someone they love. Always be mindful of others.

I have a friend who is going through a serious illness. He is getting some pretty important results today, which is why I chose to share this verse. What powerful words on a day like today. Take comfort in knowing that God knows. He hears you and he can heal you. No matter what you are going through, He can help you. He will see you through.

This is a verse that gives me a lot of comfort, but it is also very challenging for me. I am a worrier. I’m constantly worrying about what will come next or everything I have to accomplish tomorrow before I’m even through today. I’m constantly fearful of what the future will bring. It helps to know that the big guy upstairs holds my future. He knows what will happen and will help me through everything ahead of me – the good and the bad.
I’m sorry if I rambled too much in this post. These were just a few things on my heart that I wanted to share with you. I hope you all have a wonderful week! If there is anything I can pray for you for, please let me know. I would love to add you to my prayer list.

Love this post, and so very true that you should chose your words wisely towards others. You can make them or break them, why not be the one to make their day?

I really dislike those nosey questions about marriage and kids! I am married now, but we have chosen not to have children for various private reasons, and we feel that we do not owe anyone an explanation.
And no, you did not ramble too much in this post. 🙂

Very powerful words of inspiration and encouragement! Sometimes words can hurt, even when they aren't meant in a way to hurt the other person. But we should always be a light in the darkness and bring a smile to one another's face! Happy Wednesday!

This is so true, and I feel like today more than ever people everywhere are struggling. It is for sure a sign that we all need to take the time to truly pray for each other. Everyone has their struggles, some are seen some are not. At 27 single with not a single prospect I truly fear I'll be alone forever…and worse I'll never get a shot at being a mom. It is truly so incredibly heavy on my heart but I have to trust the Lord has his plan.

I love the first one. I always think that way if I see someone sad or grumpy. You never know what they are going through. I was mad at a slow driver the other day but then I wondered if they were driving slow for a reason – like how I drove two miles an hour bringing my puppy home from surgery.
Thanks for sharing these great words of encouragement! 🙂

Love this post! And I have several of those quotes written down in my home. Thank you for the reminder that sometimes we need to stop and realized how blessed we truly are and that there are others who are struggling with way more than we are. Love your blog!
