The Nordstrom Fall Sale is not a disappointment this year! Hunter boots and Barefoot Dreams are on major sale along with brands like Tory Burch and more! I am sharing a few of my favorites below, but be sure to check out the entire sale here!
I know many of you do not have the LiketoKnow.it app and prefer to shop through links on your computer, so I love to do outfit round-ups to make it easy for you to shop all my looks in one place at least once a month in my “What I Wore” posts! Now that September is here, it is officially fall, right? At least, it is in my book! I honestly cannot believe that I haven’t pulled my pumpkins out yet, but that may have to change this weekend! I’m definitely in the mood to decorate for the changing season! Lately, sitting down to blog has not come easy, but I promise I’m not quitting on you. I have been sort of thinking about which direction I want to go from here as well as adjusting to our new schedules and figuring out some office hours has been a struggle. I’m still working it all out, but I am definitely going to make more of an effort to write more because I miss talking to you guys and writing in general.
After the Labor Day weekend and searching through the sales, I honestly didn’t take advantage of many, but I found some great new arrivals that have been added to my wish list! I ordered a few things and will be sharing on my IG stories over the next few days. Nordstrom is also having a great sale on some fall things and I will be sharing those as well, so be sure to follow along on Instagram!

We had such a fun 4th of July this year. Our whole family got together and it was so fun to see and hang out with all of our cousins. We went to the parade, swam at my parent’s house, ate some delicious food and then watched fireworks! It was the perfect 4th of July with my favorite people! My kids went straight through nap time and dropped by the end of the night. To me, that’s a sign of a good day. I hope you guys had a great 4th! Here are some photos from our day:
We are about to get fall-fashion crazy over here starting next week, but before the craze that is the Nordstrom Sale begins, I want to share a few outfits that are perfect for summer. Happy Friday, friends! We have finally made it to the weekend! Anyone else doing a little dance? We have a fun weekend planned with the kids and have been so looking forward to the weekend. My car is finally fixed, VBS was a major success (and so much fun) and we are feeling blessed. You know what? I was super negative about my car situation earlier this week, but I am so thankful that we had the funds set aside to pay for it. That was a big blessing this week and I am so thankful for that. And now, we can get on with our weekend plans and some awesome sales! We are just two weeks away from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018! Some have referred to the sale as the “big Kahuna” and there is really good reason for that. It is basically amazing if you are into fall fashion. Really, all fashion, but the sale does focus on brand new fall items that haven’t even hit the store yet, with some marked down up to 40% off – hence the “big Kahuna” reference. This is one to prepare for and definitely take advantage of. Let me answer a few questions about the sale and why you should shop it this year…
