I am 36 weeks pregnant this week and feeling’ it! Baby boy has definitely dropped, even since taking these photos over the weekend. I’ve been having a ton of pressure and some fun little pre-labor pains (you know the drill) for the last couple of weeks now. I even had a moment over the weekend while standing in Target with my mom when I literally could not move. I’m sure everyone thought, “what is that girl DOING!?” It was slightly embarrassing, but what can you do? The only thing that has made this week better is wearing all the stripes.

5th Anniversary Weekend and Penelope’s Stories

This weekend was so much fun! In addition to celebrating our 5th anniversary, Thursday night, we went to a dinner with our family and saw lots of friends we haven’t seen in a while. You Are Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile

It has been a while since I went to a nice dinner with Ryan. He goes to them all the time, but I normally stay home with the kiddos. Last night we had the chance to go hear former mayor Rudy Giuliani speak at a fundraiser for a local college and it was so much fun getting all dressed up – even though I’m starting to feel like a whale. There is just something about putting on a pretty dress that makes me feel good and impossible to quit smiling. It’s good for the soul to get dressed up every once in a while. Especially as a WAHM or SAHM.

Fall Layers and Comfy Weekend Wear

This weekend started off so great! Saturday morning was cool outside and we enjoyed a little time outdoors in my new comfy fall layers before I went out with my best friend for a little pampering! We got our eyebrows done, nails done and went to lunch! I even picked up a couple of things for baby boy which was really fun! I can’t even remember the last time I enjoyed a whole afternoon with a friend! It was much-needed!

Finally Fall Friday Favorites

The second morning in a row that I have been able to enjoy some fall weather! I am loving this! My little Sophie girl started throwing up yesterday afternoon, so today we are on the mend and praying so hard that none of us catch whatever it is that she and my parents have. I’m diffusing all the oils and drinking all the coffee so I can keep up with all the laundry. I had to wash her sheets multiple times yesterday and am seriously considering buying another cheap one today so that we have more sets when these things happen. I am a happy mama right now. Why? Because it FINALLY feels like fall this morning! I may never go inside! I’ve enjoyed lots of coffee on the porch and of course, I just had to put on some of my favorite fall boots this morning. It’s the law, or something. I might also go buy a PSL when I pick up Hamp from school. Cliche? Probably, but I am going with the mood here…

Happy Friday! We are currently traveling and hanging out in Biloxi. I had the opportunity to tag along on one of Ryan’s business trips and so I took it! We are having a lot of fun (in between meetings) and it has been a nice little break! This week has been filled with lots of laundry, cleaning and determined to stay healthy in a house full of sickness. Half of my family has had the stomach virus and half of us have had colds/ear infections, so we are trying to stay away and hopefully get better so that next week we can get back to normal. My crew is starting to feel lot better, so I am very thankful for that! I also got my POPSUGAR Must Have box in the mail this week and I can’t wait to share it with you guys!

First Day of Fall and Fall FabFitFun Box Reveal

Today is the first day of fall! My favorite season! Pumpkins, Boots, Scarves, Hay Bales, Soups, Baked Goods, Leaves, Football, Cooler Weather, Leggings, etc. etc. I can’t wait for it all! We still have about 4 more weeks before it will start cooling off around here, but I am getting very excited! This season, we will be moving into our brand new house and welcoming our brand new baby boy! We will be celebrating our 5th year anniversary and Ryan and Hampton’s birthdays. We will visit the pumpkin patch and I will wear booties every day. Yes, I am a little excited that fall is finally here! My week was made when my Fall FabFitFun box arrived the other day and I can’t wait to show you the goodies that were in it!
