It has been nothing but crickets around here and I honestly can’t believe I took so much time away from writing in this space, however, it was very needed. I cleaned out my entire house, spent a lot of time with my babies, went on a beach trip with Ryan and really just got caught up and organized in my personal life which has been neglected for a while and desperately needed to get done. So, while I was taking time away from the blog, I was most definitely working on our home. haha This week, my babies went back to school and I might have teared up a little bit. I’m sure the waterworks will come more next year, but for now, I have a preschooler! The time has flown! How did my baby get to be so big?
I was not worried about Hamp at school at all because he thrives there. He walked right into his classroom and sat down in his seat like he owned the place. I’m so proud of him. Sophie was also a big surprise. She is a little more emotional than Hampton (girl) and so you never really know with her, but she did wonderful! I know it will be a great year for her as well. They have precious teachers and the sweetest classmates. It is sure to be a year full of blessings, growth, and learning!
We already have our first two field trips on the books for Hampton and he is so excited! I have definitely started to notice that the older they get, the more busy their schedules become (hence the organizing I had to do last week). If your littles have started back to school, I hope they have had a wonderful first few weeks!
