Happy Monday, friends! Did you see my mommy and me fashion post last night on IG? Lately, I’ve had a thing for matching Sophie. It started one day when I realized we were wearing a similar outfit and got so many compliments on our “matching” clothes. I thought it was so funny because it was a complete accident. I saw how excited and special it made Sophie feel, so since then, I have enjoyed trying to find clothes that are similar so that we can match and take “pit-ures.” Sophie girl loves to take photos with me, now! It used to be a struggle, but now she cries if I am taking them of anything else without her. haha Ohhh the joys of being a mom blogger. I snagged this adorable skirt about a month ago when it was on super sale (I think it is still on sale)! I bought it for under $30! I also got this top on sale a while back, too! My MIL bought Sophie this adorable little skort from Khols that actually has another matching top, but we paired it with a white tank to match mine for church on Sunday. I loved it. Let’s just say we were feeling a little ruffly.
I also purchased myself and Sophie-Rae these adorable Chambray tops during the #nsale! My black jeans are also included in the sale! I am a sucker for a good chambray top and when I saw the toddler one, I knew I had to get it for my girl! They are both so soft and at a great discount right now! I’m obsessed with the peplum style of mine! It is different and adds a little feminine flare that I love. The perfect and easiest mommy and me look!
I also snagged Weston a baby Adidas shirt that is just like mine! My top is not included in the sale, but the red one identical to it is! This hat is on sale and I actually purchased it to wear to the boy’s birthday party this fall. I’m not giving away the theme yet, but let’s just say it will be perfect! My shoes and leggings are also on sale and if you haven’t snagged a pair of Zella leggings yet, you NEED to. The black ones are my absolute favorites. I love to wear them to workout in and to wear under dresses. They are high-waisted and the perfect thickness.
We had such a fun weekend hanging out with friends and doing a lot of cleaning! I have really started cleaning out our house which feels so good. I have started trying to go through the kid’s clothes to get ready for the big consignment sale and hopefully be able to sell a lot of their old things we don’t need any more. It feels so good to clean out and I love to do it this time of year before school starts and things get crazy again.
Who else loves to match their kiddos?
