Five Things You Need to Know About This Week

Happy Monday! No weekend update, today. We basically cleaned, hosted a cookout for my mom’s birthday Friday night, went to a kid’s birthday party on Saturday and did a lot of laundry, but I feel like I am starting off on a clean slate. There is something about a (semi-) clean house that get’s me all excited and ready for the week! Today, I want to tell you guys about a few things you need to know about this week. I did this a couple of months ago, and y’all really enjoyed it, so I wanted to do another! Here we go!

First off, Amazon Prime Day starts TONIGHT at 8p.m. EST. I can’t wait to see the deals and will let you guys know about my favorites! I’m not sure if I’m going to write a dedicated blog post on them yet or not, but I might decide to if it is too good to handle.

Secondly, Snow Cones are kind of the bomb. There was a little stand in our neighborhood yesterday during the parade of homes and my kids devoured them. I might have, too. They were so good and I haven’t had one in so long. It was a nice little treat! If you haven’t had one in a while, go get you one, girl (or guy?)!

Third, my girl, Shantelle sent me some new DoTERRA oils to try out and I am loving them! The new Cheer touch is especially wonderful! It promotes positive feelings which I have been needing lately. Postpartum feels are no joke. Not sure if it’s the breastfeeding or what, but this mama has been so touchy lately. This oil has really helped me a lot and I have loved it. Fourth, the #NSALE is THURSDAY!!! I am so excited I can’t hardly stand it. I have poured over the catalogue and have already been marking some of the items I am most excited to try on for you guys! My strategy is simple (read more here) I am on a mission to find some denim, boots (because obviously I need some of those), athleisure and a couple of new fall tops and dresses for the season! I am not sure if I will buy leggings or not, but I spied some with ruffles that have definitely caught my eye! We shall see! Fifth, I have a new obsession and it is this dress! I have no idea if it will be included in the Nordstrom sale or not, but it is the perfect dress for transitioning into fall and it is so comfy! It’s a sweatshirt dress WITH pockets AND ruffles! It is beyond cute. I love comfy and cute styles. This would be cute paired with sneakers, sandals or booties! I love it!
