Super Bowl Weekend

This weekend was pretty boring to be honest. I did some laundry and we moved the rest of our stuff out of my parent’s house, so we have been unpacking again. Sigh. Sunday, we went to church and it was, of course, super bowl weekend. We do not have an NFL team in Alabama, so the closest team to us is the Atlanta Falcons. We were excited to see them in the game, but to be honest, I just watch the super bowl for the commercials and halftime show. Of course, there is always the food, too! Game day food is the best!

We had a lot of fun watching the game with the kids – especially Hampton. He danced through the entire halftime show and it was kind of hilarious and adorable. Sophie galloped around the house most of the time because she is a bottle of energy these days, and Weston fell asleep on his play mat during the first five minutes of the game. What a party animal he is! 😉

I think I have to say my favorite commercials were the Cam Newton one and the Bai commercial with Justin Timberlake. I am a big Auburn fan, so we love our Cam. Seeing him in the commercial was so fun and exciting. I also thought it was funny and sweet at the same time. I also thought that Lady Gaga did a great job! It was clean and the dancing was great and I really loved her mic drop at the end! Her entrance was pretty amazing, too! Kudos to you, Gaga!

I am looking forward to hopefully finish unpacking the rest of our boxes this week. We got a lot done over the weekend and have cleaned out a lot, too. We also finished Parenthood (SO GOOD!!) over the weekend, so I desperately need a new Netflix drama in my life. Any suggestions?
