It is so hard to believe our little man is 6 weeks old! Time is seriously flying since I had him. He is growing so much and is gaining little thigh rolls that make me so happy! His cheeks are rounding out and he is just the cutest little thing. I could seriously stare at him all day. He is Hampton’s little twin, let me tell you. We can’t get over every facial expression and how much he looks like Hamp. I do think he may have blue eyes, though! I am SO excited!! My other babies inherited my brown eyes, but I am thankful that we will have a blue (or hazel) eyed child like their daddy’s pretty eyes!
Sunday, we had Weston’s baby dedication at church. I was a little anxious about how the toddlers would do on stage, but they were wonderful! They did not make a peep and when our family friend and church elder prayed over us, Hampton grinned from ear to ear and waved when he said his name. It was the sweetest thing ever. I was so happy that the father of our dear friend, Shane who passed 2 years ago was the one who prayed over our family. It meant the world to us and we all got a little choked up. It was so touching to us and he said the sweetest prayer.
It was a great weekend full of more unpacking (maybe we will finish up some day) and lots of Christmas wrapping! I still have about 8 more gifts to wrap and then I am calling it quits! A friend of mine at church told me he marks a specific date on her calendar and whatever she hasn’t wrapped at that point, she puts in gift bags. I am thinking that idea sounds pretty awesome! haha
Have you finished up your wrapping?
