This past weekend was one filled with lots of joy and tons of emotions for this momma! My precious baby girl turned ONE. I still can’t believe it! That first year went by so fast. Even faster than Hampton’s first. I have definitely been feeling all the emotions as she has been taking more and more steps and seems to be really growing up quickly all of a sudden. We had so much fun celebrating her first birthday with family and close friends. We also welcomed my precious baby cousins into the world and I am so thankful and happy to announce that they are healthy and absolutely perfect. Zana, my cousin and best friend is doing well and I am so proud of the mother she is to these precious babies. I honestly can’t imagine having twins because having two, 18 months apart was very difficult, and I am so amazed at how well she is doing it. She is super mom!
My sweet little angel is walking so much more and is learning all kinds of new tricks like how to blow, say “bye” in addition to her sweet “hey” and she has been dropping anything and everything so she can say “uh-oh!” I love watching her play and learn and even how she is interacting more and more with Hampton. They have started playing together a good bit more and I love it!
This weekend was a whirlwind of emotions and fun, and I am so thankful to our friends and family for celebrating this special time with us. I feel like we have been on cloud nine since Sophie-Rae was born. She has been the sweetest baby and is always making us smile. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for our beautiful baby girl as she continues to grow. It’s still like a dream to me that her first birthday has already come and gone. We love you and are so proud of you, Sophie girl!
Aw, looks like such a fun party! Happy birthday to her – but y’all definitely earned the celebration, too!
