First off, thank you so much for all of your love on last week’s post! We are getting so excited to welcome baby #3 and I honestly can’t believe I am already almost 16 weeks along! I am extremely happy to have kissed that first trimester goodbye because it was a doozy this time around. I’ve loved reading all of your comments throughout the weekend and it was so encouraging and sweet! Also, thank you for the car recommendations! 😉
This weekend was spent mostly outdoors with cousins and friends. Some sweet friends of ours had us over for dinner Saturday night and the kids played in the kiddie pool and sprinkler. Watching them really took me back to my childhood days when we used to play with our little friends in each other’s backyards!
Sunday afternoon, I took the kids outside and we spent the day splashing in the pool, laying out, having races and riding bikes. It was a lot of fun and it made me excited to get these summer months kicked off! I already have so many things going through my mind that I want to do with the kids. The first thing on our agenda is taking them to my grandparent’s house in Florida later this week! We are hoping to go to their zoo (it’s awesome and they have penguins – my favorite!) and maybe even a beach day or two!
In other news, I finished Fixer Upper by Mary Kay Andrews and really loved it! Her books are such great summer reads, in my opinion. I am excited to start reading a book from my summer must read list! I am planning to read all of them and if I have time, maybe even a couple more that I left off this list.
What did you do this weekend? What are you currently reading?
