This week, we have been so out of sorts. Sophie has had Hand, Foot and Mouth, so she hasn’t been sleeping and has basically been miserable. Hampton (finally) climbed out of his crib this week and fell pretty hard. It hurt him and scared him, so we decided it was time to take off the rail and flip his crib into a toddler bed. That seemed like a great idea and it was definitely time, but he has been waking up around 5 every morning and ready to play. I don’t do 5a.m. so well. I’m definitely more of a night owl, especially lately, so this has been a big adjustment.
I’ve also been determined to get back in shape this week. I realized at my friends wedding last weekend that I felt so mushy and I have not hardly worked out the last couple of weeks. Not like I normally do. I try to do cardio and at least one TIU workout a day, but lately I’ve been lucky to workout 2 days a week. I really want to start getting back after it. I’ve done much better this week and will probably start checking in once a week or so to hold myself accountable.
I also recently read a pretty good book that I wanted to tell you guys about! Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty is about three sisters – triplets – who are constantly bickering and are each so different. It was a cute story and would make a great beach or vacation read. As I mentioned yesterday, I’ve got the beach on my mind. I love Moriarty’s novels. This did not come close to What Alice Forgot or The Husband’s Secret, but it was still really cute!
With all of that being said, I am so happy it is Friday and finally the weekend! We have a good friend’s birthday party and all kinds of activities going on, o it should be a fun time. Be sure to follow along on Snapchat (LoganCan)!
