I can’t believe spring is almost here. Well, it definitely IS here in Alabama. The weather has been perfect this week and we have spent more time outside and less time on the computer which has been really nice and very needed. I am so ready for the spring season, warmer weather and all the fun that comes along with a new season. The pollen can stay away, but I love the spring blossoms, the floral print dresses and sandals! So, here are a are ways you can get ready for spring, because it’s definitely coming!
-Start (or continue) a workout routine to get spring and summer ready! This month, I was determined to up my workouts a little and really mix things up. I had slacked off for a couple of weeks, but it has felt great to get into a good running schedule again and focusing on total body toning on top of that has made me so sore this week, which is a good sign that it’s been effective!
-Splurge on a new dress! I am really hunting for the perfect Easter dress this year. I haven’t bought one for the last 3 years now because I’ve been either pregnant or dealing with a postpartum body and just did’t feel like making that splurge. I bought the kid’s Easter outfits last year when they went on sale, so this year I have a little extra in my budget to buy one for myself! It’s always fun to buy a new dress this time of year!
-Dust off your sandals. It’s time to clean up your heels, wedges and sandals. Wedding season is upon us, folks!
-Purge your winter clothes and accessories you no longer need or want. I am going to start going through the kids closets this weekend to clean out the majority of their winter clothes and box them up for the fall consignment sale that I participate in every year! I will go through them later to see if I want to save anything, but boxing them up now gets them put away and out of the way. I am determined to get their closets more organized and then I will start on my own. Let’s just say that will not be an easy task.
-I could be obvious and write spring cleaning as my last point, but I would feel like a total hypocrite. I have so much cleaning to do right now and I don’t have a clue where to start. I am normally so clean and organized, but this whole living out of boxes for 4 months thing has really thrown me. Especially now that the seasons are changing. It will be a big ordeal to get everything switched out, so I’m adding find new house super quick in order to avoid this chaos to my list.
