My formula for happiness:
Cuddling in our jammies watching Paw Patrol or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse…
Doing arts and crafts and seeing Hampton’s smile when he is so proud of his work…
Bath time and bedtime stories…
Sleeping in…
Sitting by the fire with my favorite novel…
Snuggling with my husband…
Coffee every morning…
Health and Nutrition for my family…
Front porch swinging…
Catching up with old friends…
Watching my son and nephew play “superheros”…
Seeing Sophie-Rae crawl and pull up for the first time over Christmas…
An early morning run (if the temperature is right)…
Chocolate…
Lazy Saturday mornings…
These are just a few things that come to mind when I think about what my happiness is. My family and our health is the most important thing to me. I try to make sure my kids are getting plenty of fruits and vegetables, but one thing hat has always felt out of my control is formula. I quit breastfeeding SR about 4 weeks ago, now. It was a tough decision, but ultimately one I had to make based on her physical needs. I was super excited to hear that Gerber Good Start Formulas are now all Non-GMO! I love seeing brands that I love and trust make wonderful advancements to help support health – especially in my babies. I am looking forward to checking out this improved formula.
As for me, I’m looking forward to a super busy and fun weekend! We have plans to see lots of family and friends who we haven’t seen in a while. I am beyond ready to have some fun during our downtime this weekend. And, best of all? Ryan is coming home tonight! Yay! Just one more reason to love Fridays, right?
What are your weekend plans? Do you have a formula for happiness?

I loved this! There are so many things that bring happiness to me! My cute little son and of course every time he smiles! Chocolate…ice cream..the list goes on! Thanks for the reminder of all the little things in life that bring joy!

So so cute! I love this! and I wear my footie pajamas all the time too. lol
Sitting by the fire, cuddling with my husband, listening to soft music, drawing, and writing are just some of my favorite little formulas for happiness. Oh, and awkwardly, cleaning my kitchen is happiness. I can’t go to bed if my kitchen is a mess.

Ahh I forgot to list music! That is definitely a happy spot for our family! And I can totally agree with you on the cleaning thing. I just vacuumed and cleaned our bathroom (yes, on a Friday night) and it felt amazing! haha

Love this… happiness really is in those small moments. That’s great to hear the formula is gmo free. I couldn’t believe all the nastiness back in my day of switching to formula with my babes. Glad its progressing. We are headed to Steamboat Springs CO with our 4 older kids and can’t wait!!!
Logan Cantrell says
I am SO jealous! Steamboat is beautiful! I went skiing there many years ago and it was a trip I’ll never forget! Have fun!

i love how you wrote this, almost in the form of a stream of consciousness about what makes you happy – It really is that simple recognizing happiness if you take a moment to realize all you’re grateful for and that which makes you smile. Thanks for sharing such a great post.

Awww, that’s actually lovely and it made my day. <3 I think you've got it down pat, I can't imagine better ways to stay happy and emotionally healthy. Pssst, I also love snuggling with my honey! Just don't tell him I ever admitted it. 😛
