What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty
Penguin Group Inc., 2009
First Line: She was floating, arms outspread, water overlapping her body, breathing in a summery fragrance of salt and coconut.
Synopsis from Goodreads: Alice Love is twenty-nine years old, madly in love with her husband, and pregnant with their first child. So imagine her surprise when, after a fall, she comes to on the floor of a gym (a gym! she HATES the gym!) and discovers that she’s actually thirty-nine, has three children, and is in the midst of an acrimonious divorce.
A knock on the head has misplaced ten years of her life, and Alice isn’t sure she likes who she’s become. It turns out, though, that forgetting might be the most memorable thing that has ever happened to Alice.

I read this book a few months ago. It is really good. Like you, I didn't know what was going to happen. I also like how we, the reader, had to figure out Alice's life right along with her. It did make me think about how much my life has changed even over the last couple of years. This book is going to be on my list this upcoming Tuesday of books that I think would make good movies.

I read this book too. My grandfather is suffering from Alzheimers and I know how hard these diseases can be on a family. This book scared me a bit, I don't know if it was because she was so smart and well established and it just happened out of the blue. It was a great inside look at her world. I really liked it.
