Happy Friday everyone! It has been a while since I wrote my last post. Things have been crazy around here and I’ve been pretty sick, so I haven’t felt much like blogging. I have been thinking and praying a lot about this blog. To be honest, it has overwhelmed me how fast it has grown. Trying to keep up with it and post daily while working has not been the easiest. I know a lot of you do it and it gives me more respect for those that do!
Don’t worry, I’m not getting rid of my blog, I am just making a few changes. I will no longer be accepting sponsors because I do not feel that I have been able to give them the full attention that they deserve and I am very sorry for that. I will however still be open to swapping with anyone who is interested. I will not host giveaways monthly as I have been. I may do an occasional one here and there.
I will also not be posting as often. No worries, Monday Mingling is not going anywhere, but I will probably only post once or twice a week other than that.
I still love reading all of your blogs and I love blogging. It just got to where I was trying to post so often that I began to feel overwhelmed and it started going in a direction I didn’t want it to. I started this blog to talk about life and books and that is what I plan to get back to. Thank you for reading my small corner of the internet and I hope you will continue.

I'm glad you're keeping Monday Mingling. It will be fun to keep up with you that way. Good for you for stepping back to evaluate priorities and taking the steps to keep your life and balance in check.

I'm happy to hear that you'll be continuing Monday Mingling, but sad to hear that you won't be posting much other than that. But I understand it. I look forward to reading what you are able to post.
Do it because you love it, not because you feel like you have to. 🙂

I can completely relate!
I also work full time and recently started to feel like blogging was more of a job than a fun hobby.
One of the best things I did for myself and my blog is create a mission statement. It has helped me stay centered on what I want to do with my blog. I don't post as often as I'd like, but I'm OK with it.
I think it's great that you are able to reflect and see what's not working and what is- and then change it! Do what's best for you =)

That's great to be working on balance. I've never posted every day. I've focused on letting my blog be what it will be which is more organic and less scheduled. Happy Friday to you too!

As you know, I completely understand. I have felt so much better about blogging since I started my changes. No offense to the sponsors I have left, but I'm ready for that to be over too so all that pressure comes off as well.
For the record, I think you were a great blog to sponsor. I'd love to swap with you if you'd like. Have a great weekend!

I would love to swap buttons! I can understand not doing sponsors anymore – I'm considering whether or not I should do them at all (when that times comes). I like the fact that my readership is genuine – not just following because they had a chance to win something. Does that make sense?

Its hard work blogging consistently….I'm sure you will do what's best for your blog 🙂 So glad monday mingling is staying and p.s. I felt like I got my money's worth sponsoring you!
Also I would love to swap buttons again if you're interested!!

The most important thing is that you're taking care of yourself 🙂
Thank you for continuing to host Monday Mingling and I hope your health improves immediately!
