The ladies on my sidebar are seriously some of the sweetest people. I have really enjoyed getting to know them this month. They are so supportive, kind, and generous.I hope you will all take the time to get to know them as well. Meet my Extra Shots of Espresso!
I asked them what their favorite holiday tradition is and this is what they shared:
Taylor @ Goings on in Texas
Favorite Tradition: When I was a kid, I looked forward to Christmas Eve so much. My family would eat dinner either out some where or someone would cook, we would attend our Christmas Eve service at church and then go look at Christmas lights afterward. When we got home, it was time to open one present (my brother and I) and it was always Christmas PJ’s. And then if my mom’s parents were with us for the Christmas holiday, my brother and I would perform some sort of Christmas play with our grandfather (we had practiced and practiced…haha). I remember one year we did a version of Scrooge and my grandfather played Scrooge and removed his false teeth and everything (I remember that being sort of scary and fascinating all at the same time! haha) These are memories I’ll cherish forever!
Nikki @ From a Miss to a Mrs.
Favorite Tradition: My favorite holiday tradition has to be Christmas Eve at my mom’s house. We always order pizza and chow down in front of the T.V. while we watch The Grinch, then open 90% of our presents. It’s one of my favorite things to do all year long.
Natalie @ At Home with the Hinkley’s
Favorite Tradition: My favorite holiday tradition is decorating at my Mom’s house. We blast the Johnny Mathis Christmas album on repeat and go to town! It is so fun to pull out all the old ornaments and decorations that she has had since my brother and I were tiny.
Dani @ Football and Rainbows
Favorite Tradition: For Christmas Slugger, our elf on the shelf, comes out and does all kinds of fun things. I also take my son, Ashton, out every year to go look at Christmas lights and drink hot chocolate while we are looking.
Tarole @ Island Livin’ with One Haole Girl
Favorite Tradition: My favorite holiday tradition is during Thanksgiving weekend, my entire family gets together for Thanksgiving on Thursday. The women go shop for Black Friday while the men go on a big hunt trip until Sunday. It’s the same every year and it never gets old!

Favorite Tradition: My favorite holiday memory is getting together with tons of family and playing music together. We all take turns singing, playing instruments, and dancing. It is so much fun!
Sarah @ Beyond the Gradebook
Sarah @ Beyond the Gradebook
Favorite Tradition: I have so many favorite holiday traditions. Christmas Eve services with my family and opening one present on Christmas Eve (always pajamas, a robe, or something of the sort) are my top favorites, though.
Sabz @ The Eclectic Grab Bag
Favorite Tradition: During the Holidays, my family and I jump in the car and visit Crippsmas Place to see all of the decorated houses and lights they put up ever year in a neighborhood not too far from us. It’s a bunch of different streets and you can either drive to see it all, but a lot of people walk around with their families to enjoy it a little longer. On one of the courts, there is a donation center where they collect money to divide between different charities and save a little to update some of the decorations and lights as well. We love it so much and never miss one year!
Ashley @ Simply Ashley
Favorite Tradition: My favorite holiday tradition is making Christmas cookies! I cannot wait to make them for the first time with my daughter Addie this year! :)) I am hoping she enjoys it as much as I did growing up.
